A Day Without Illegal Aliens Is—Wondeful!

By: John Lillpop

Remember the highly-touted “boycott of America” by illegal aliens last fall?

The one that was supposed to shut down America and convert rule of law advocates to open borders devotees?

Instead of shutting down America, the day demonstrated how wonderful life would be with 30 million less criminals in our midst.

In fact, the day worked out so well, I say let’s make it permanent!

Some highlights of my “2006 Day without Illegal Aliens”:

* Able to sleep in because there were no leaf blowers roaring outside my window and no garders cursing in Spanish at 7am

*Ordered a Jumbo Jack and had my order processed correctly the first time. No need to decline “Yumbo Yack with Cheese” three times!

*Slowed down in front of Home Depot without being inundated by 50 out-of-work illegal aliens!

*Whisked right through the express line at the grocery store because there were no illegals trying to pay for beer with food stamps & not quite grasping the checker’s perfectly understandable English explanation that food stamps can not be used to purchase alcohol.

*Saved $15 because the local car wash was shut down

*Was able to see a physician within two hours at the emergency room. Why? Without free-loading illegal aliens hogging the facility, ER can serve real Americans.

A day without illegal aliens was wonderful. This could be the start of something very good!
