Stand With Israel Rally on June 10, 2007

Washington, D.C, June 7, 2007 – Americans from across the country are coming to the National Mall on Sunday, June 10, 2007 to show their support for Israel’s right to peace, security and defensible borders. The pro-Israel rally, to support America’s ally and the only democracy in the Middle East, has been organized to counter an anti-Israel rally organized by the Communist Party USA, United for Peace and Justice, the Muslim American Society Freedom Foundation, Young Communists League,
American-Arab Anti-Discrimination League, the PLO, and other extremist organizations.

Students, friends of Israel, Christian and Jewish organizations and a wide range of pro-Israel groups will attend the Stand With Israel Rally, organized by Stand With Us in partnership with AMCHA – The Coalition for Jewish Concerns, the American Jewish Congress Western Region, Americans for a Safe Israel, Center for Vigilant Freedom, Christians’ Israel Public Action Campaign, Endowment for Middle East Truth, Free Republic, Jerusalem Connection, Society of Americans for National Existence, The
David Project, United American Committee, Unity Coalition for Israel and Zionist Organization of America. More organizations continue to join us and will be added at The Stand With Israel Rally will show the broad support for Israel from Americans who are deeply outraged that Israel’s opponents might have demonstrated in our nation’s capitol without any patriotic opposing voices.

The Stand With Israel Rally will run from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a vigil along the Anti-Israel March route from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The program of speeches will begin at 3:00 p.m. The list of speakers and statements will be updated at
