Do You Think It’s Fun Being A Denier?
By: Bob Parks
Who in their right mind would think some of us enjoy being global warming deniers? It’s a perilous position, to be sure.
There are many people whom, just because the weather does things that aren’t always in our creature comfort zone, believe that strange things are happening and it’s all our fault. Whenever a catastrophic tornado or hurricane touches down, it can’t be a natural incident. No, such things aren’t supposed to displace us, or cause undue panic attacks. Life is supposed to be “normalâ€.
So we have people like Former Vice President Al Gore making movies. We have Hollywood actors, lecturing us on our opulent lifestyles, because they now are experts as they appeared in a movie on the subject. We have politicians scolding us because we dare use common sense when addressing global warming instead of embracing their remedy of the redistribution of wealth in the name of the planet.
And all the while, we are ridiculed as head-in-the-sand dupes one step below a Holocaust denier. Unlike Gore and Hollywood celebrities-turned-scientists, there is little to no profit in questioning. Isn’t “questioning authority (what those who preach the global warming line say all the time) what we’re supposed to do? Obviously not when it comes to questioning them.
So, to avoid having to provide logical answers, the global warming believers resort to the standard name-calling approach, while using their authority over our children and scare them into joining their cause. However, the facts are slowly leaking out and the battle has officially begun.
For example, did you know that while the United Nations’ weather experts, disguised as diplomats, were dictating to the world how we should readjust our lives and national economies to meet their carbon emission guidelines, “an international team of scientists skeptical of man-made climate fears promoted by the UN and former Vice President Al Gore, descended on Bali this week to urge the world to “have the courage to do nothing” in response to UN demands,†according to Marc Moreno, Communications Director, Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, Senator James Inhofe’s staff.
“Climate change is a non problem. The right answer to a non-problem is to have the courage to do nothing. The UN conference is a complete waste of our time and your money and we should no longer pay the slightest attention to the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change).”
– Lord Christopher Monckton, UK climate researcher
What would Lord Monckton get out of telling the world that man-made global warming basically doesn’t exist? What would it do to his credentials if he were proven wrong in the near future?
Those who promote the concept of global warming will just shut up if their predictions are proven inaccurate. Just ask actor/environmentalist Ted Danson….
But I was always until the impression that scientists wanted to test all theories, prove the right or wrong one-by-one, and whatever hypothesis is still standing becomes acknowledged fact. However, when it comes to global warming, this is not the case….
“UN organizers refused my credentials and appeared desperate that I should not come to this conference. They have also made several attempts to interfere with our public meetings,” Monckton said.
“It is a circus here. This is the most lavish conference I have ever been to, but I am only a scientist and I actually only go to the science conferences.”
– Dr. David Evans, Australian scientist, who is making scientific presentations to delegates and journalists at the conference revealing the latest peer-reviewed studies that refute the UN’s climate claims, noting the luxury of the selected tropical resort.
According to Morano, “Evans, a mathematician who did carbon accounting for the Australian government, recently converted to a skeptical scientist about man-made global warming after reviewing the new scientific studies.
“We now have quite a lot of evidence that carbon emissions definitely don’t cause global warming. We have the missing (human) signature (in the atmosphere), we have the IPCC models being wrong and we have the lack of a temperature going up the last 5 years.”
While promoting a “new peer reviewed study†featured in the December 2007 issue of the International Journal of Climatology of the Royal Meteorological, Evans is candid on the apparent whoring going on in Bali in general, and in the Global Warming Industrial Complex in particular….
“Most of the people here have jobs that are very well paid and they depend on the idea that carbon emissions cause global warming. They are not going to be very receptive to the idea that well actually the science has gone off in a different direction.â€
But the scientific criticisms of those who refute the notion of man-made global warming don’t stop there.
“There is no evidence that carbon dioxide increases are having any affect whatsoever on the climate. All the science of the IPCC is unsound. I have come to this conclusion after a very long time. If you examine every single proposition of the IPCC thoroughly, you find that the science somewhere fails. It fails not only from the data, but it fails in the statistics, and the mathematics.â€
– Dr. Vincent Gray, UN IPCC reviewer and climate researcher from New Zealand, an expert who reviewed every single draft of the IPCC reports since its inception going back to 1990
As we’ve seen in the last couple of years of inaccurate tropical storm predictions, some scientists feel that faulty hype may lead to the overall erosion on trust between the public and science. Evans also believes politics are now driving the “climate change†debate, and it can’t end pretty when elected officials and international bureaucrats are involved.
People who have money usually easily influence politicians. So an actor or former politician, for example, can have extraordinary influence over a public servant who also sees re-election as a priority. Getting such a personality onboard can pay huge dividends on a political career, so jumping onboard with a certain individual’s pet peeve can be of enormous value.
Especially if that pet peeve can’t be absolutely proven accurate. Dr. Gray adds, “We have a split here. Official science driven by politics, money and power, goes in one direction. Unofficial science, which is more determined by what is actually happening with the (climate) data, has now started to move off in a different direction” away from fears of a man-made climate crisis. The two are splitting. This is always a dangerous time for science and a dangerous time for politics. Historically science always wins these battles but there can be a lot of causalities and a lot of time in between.”
What are Al Gore, Laurie David, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Sheryl Crow going to do should their science be officially proven wrong? Slitting wrists will never happen, as they may take their propaganda to another affordable level. But what kind of damage will they do while going down?
They have no qualms about scaring kids. Fro example, DiCaprio “assures†us he’s not trying to impose his beliefs on the rest of us, yet he says he plans on taking his message to schools.
And we all know, when it comes to these narcissists, that getting their way (because they KNOW they’re right) is all that matters. They’re surrounded by “yes†people who are paid to provide their every whim. In their thinking, the rest of us should get with the program, no matter what it does to our lives or nations, as a whole.
“I don’t think this conference can actually achieve anything because it seems to be saying that we are going to draw up one protocol for every country in the world to follow.
“Now these countries and these economies are so diverse that trying to presume you can put all of these feet into one shoe will simply not work.
“Having the same set of rules apply to everybody will blow some economies apart totally while others will be unscathed and I wouldn’t be surprised if the ones who remain unscathed are the ones who write the rules.”
– Owen McShane, head of the International Climate Science Coalition, who’s concerned that a UN promoted global approach to economics would mean financial ruin for many nations.
As I’ve said, none of these international bureaucrats give a rip about the ramifications of this unproven science, as long as THEY get to determine the economic paths the nations of the world get to play. Obviously, if you control economies, you control everything.
And if it doesn’t solve the global warming “crisisâ€, no big deal, because the economic control; the ability to confiscate money from nations unchecked is what the United Nations has always been about.
“My message is specifically for the poor people of Africa. And there is nothing happening at this conference that can help them one little bit but there is the potential that they could be damaged.
“The government and people of Africa will have their attention drawn to reducing climate change instead of reducing poverty.â€
– Professor Dr. William Alexander, emeritus of the University of Pretoria in South Africa and former member of the United Nations Scientific and Technical Committee on Natural Disasters, warning poor nations and their residents that the UN policies could mean more poverty and thus more death.
I find it ironic that the very people who claim to care so much for the poor, would condemn them and their nations to increased poverty, just so they can live lives unscathed by their policies, because they can pay for their lifestyles with carbon offsets.
Everyone else suffers, but they can continue to lecture us and pollute themselves (several times the amount a normal family does).
That’s why I’m proud to be a global warming denier. I get a lot of grief for it, but my position is just as important as their “causeâ€.
And as I’ve never received a response as to why the rest of our solar system region is heating up, and despite the fact that we only inhabit one planet, tells me something quite clear. These environmentalist climate “experts†NEVER mention THE SUN when talking about “warmingâ€, which would be the least bit logical.
They have no responses, just fear. And, oh yes, we can trust them and the United Nations at their word.
Regardless of the ridicule, I’ll stay a denier.
You know what they say about the “last laughâ€â€¦.
