Oh Boy! It’s Obama and Obiden!

By: Jack L. Key

So it’s Joe Biden of Delaware! As a Tennesssean who grew up at the Delaware seashore, I couldn’t be happier for my friends and classmates who still live in the state. For many years my home was in Lewes, Delaware, the “first town” of the “first state!”

It is the smallest state in population, and second smallest in size to Rhode Island—and the first state to ratify the US Constitution!

In 2005, my 1955 graduating class of old Lewes High School celebrated our 50th anniversary! One of my first jobs was as a lifeguard on Lewes Beach in 1953 and my ex-wife and I were married and lived and worked for years in Wilmington, the state’s largest city.

The state is home to the powerful DuPont Companies and family—and The Winterthur Museum in the beautiful Brandywine Valley.

I like to think of the state as my first love, because that’s what it was to a young 15 year-old boy who arrived there in the Summer of 1951 after just losing my mother to cancer in Tennessee. My father went there in search of work during a period of union strikes and upheaval in his chosen industry of textiles. It was one of the happiest periods of my life.

As a Republican I am not enamored of Joe Biden, the Democrat Senator from Delaware, and I’m grateful for not living in the state since he’s been an elected politician there. Biden lives in, and sees a completely different world than I do, and his lack of tact, good manners and political faux paux’ make him the best VP sidekick for B. Hussein Obama in all of these United States!

They will no doubt compliment each other, and it began at 3:00 AM this morning when Obama’s Veep announcement plans went deep six-ing! Somebody leaked the big news, and the texters were left holding their-er, messengers. The campaign rushed to make it whole, but could not get people awakened even for the Anointed One’s news!

Biden has long been known inside the Beltway as having big feet and a bigger mouth, and it seems he has no trouble keeping one foot there most of the time. He is a Washington elitist, and enjoys boasting of his accomplishments and those of his children and family.

However, he does know his way around Washington, because he is one of THEM.

He sits on some powerful Senate Committees and manages to screw up most of their business so badly it has to be abandoned. Early on, my opinion would be that if we can somehow get him to give up his Senate seat that would be the best Republicans could hope for. As for his electionability and help for Obama’s campaign I can only see that as nil.

Some think he has foreign policy experience– I do not. He is a leftist, period.

He is the best possible choice Republicans could have hoped for, and if John McCain can’t whip this pair of neer-do-wells, then he probably doesn’t deserve to win anyway.

Now that a federal lawsuit has been filed against Obama and his campaign and the Democratic Party over Obama’s failure to produce birth documentation and citizenship records, as well as possibly committing criminal fraud, the Dem convention will be a test of wills by the leftists and moderate Democrats. And indeed as possibly a floor fight between Obama and Hillary Clinton—who did NOT give up.

Stay tuned for that one. So, onward, Obama and Obiden!
