Random Thoughts a la Sowell

By: Brooks A. Mick

In a replay of the Rihanna-Chris Brown incident, Obama grabbed hold of American corporations with one arm and pounded them in the face with the other, then next day sweet-talked that he wouldn’t do it again if they invested in his toxic-asset bailout scheme. I’m waiting for Oprah to scream “Run! He’s going to kill you next time!”

In a replay of the Whitney Houston-Bobby Brown relationship, Obama is doling out monetary drugs to states and cities, getting them hooked on federal taxpayer money.

In a replay of the Caylee Anthony murder, Democrats kill the wealth of the country, hide the body, and blame somebody else.

Watching Obama make speeches about the economy engenders the same sense of dread I had when watched the terrorist video of Nicholas Berg’s beheading–horrible helplessness and frustration that nothing anybody does can stop the murder…of Berg, or of the economy and culture.
