Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson have Nothing to Say
By: Michael John McCrae
The article made me laugh. Al Sharpton, the man who has yet to apologize for getting white people roughed up over the Tawana Brawly hoax and Jessie Jackson, the man who refused to pay support for one of his illegitimate children: “attacked the bid by Rush Limbaugh to buy the St. Louis Rams on Monday, saying the conservative radio host’s track record on race should exclude him from owning an NFL team.†(From: Sharpton, Jackson Attack Limbaugh’s Rams Bid, Associated Press, Oct.13, 2009)
Now the “Tweedle Dee†and Tweedle Dum†of race baiting are attempting to make more racist hay by accusing the least racist individual in America of having a “track recordâ€. If these two liberal schleps had half a brain between them they would realize they are the ones holding the brown end of the cesspool inspection rod.
From the article: “Sharpton sent a letter to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, arguing that Limbaugh has been divisive and “anti-NFL” in some of his comments.â€
Now, aside from the fact that Sharpton could not cite specifics to back up his personal prejudice; to claim Rush Limbaugh is “anti-NFL†is just plain ludicrous. No one supports the NFL as highly as Rush Limbaugh. ESPN knew that when they asked him to be a commentator on their cable program. He was hired, did a credible job while he was associated with ESPN and then was ingloriously fired when certain comments he made were taken completely out of context by many people the likes of Al Sharpton.
Jessie Jackson proved he had no clue either: “Jackson said in a telephone interview that Limbaugh had made his wealth “appealing to the fears of whites” with an unending line of insults against blacks and other minorities.â€
Again, there was a major lack of specifics to back up this statement full of racist innuendo. Jackson cannot explain one specific reference within the so-called “unending line†without depending on his own ability to bend reality into something unethical and racist.
But Jackson has an uncanny knack for contradicting himself. Not only does he not preach to the black community about taking personal responsibility for children born out of wedlock. (He didn’t quite do well for his own illegitimate child.) But he is quoted saying: “”The National Football League has set high standards for racial justice and inclusion,” And if that is true then why would Rush Limbaugh be excluded? Is it based on the fact that he happens to be white? Jackson said: “”He should not have the privilege of owning an NFL franchise — and it is a privilege.”
Just who the hell is Jessie Jackson to keep any “privilege†from anyone?
These two members of “Racists R Us†have got testicles the size of their egos!
Rush Limbaugh does not need me to defend him. He has done nothing wrong nor has he said anything wrong. Idiot members of the mainstream press have glommed on to unsupported blog entries from a host of dubious sources to smear Mr. Limbaugh. The twenty million listeners to his program know better. Even the mainstream knows better but they are in bed with the good (liberal socialist) reverends in their desire to bring down Rush Limbaugh.
All that, and Mr. Limbaugh would not even be a majority owner. Are all the people thinking of pooling this franchise purchase to beâ€attacked†as Mr. Limbaugh? Would anyone now want to purchase the Rams and maybe bring the franchise out of its doldrums or will the team languish on the auction block for want of any ownership. Does anyone see the precedent being established here? Must you be a liberal socialist to own an NFL Team? Will Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson build a coalition to outbid the group Mr. Limbaugh has been asked to be part of?
The point is, both these blowhard, race-baiting charlatans need an enema! In my opinion, they have nothing to say of any substance.
