Not My Daddy

I guess birds of a feather…well you know the saying. Lisa Jackson, the President’s pick to head the Environmental Protection Agency, is a liar of the highest magnitude. In a recent article Jackson wrote discussing the Murkowski Resolution , put forth by Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) to curb the EPA’s authority to mandate CO2 emissions which will be voted on by the Senate on June 10, 2010, Jackson said the following:
“Murkowski has proposed a resolution that would drastically weaken our nation’s historic effort to increase fuel savings, save consumers money, and cut oil consumption from American cars and trucks.”
With a straight face and a split tongue she tells us that EPA mandates on CO2 emissions will “SAVE CONSUMERS MONEY.†Does she actually think anyone believes her when she spews such garbage? The Wall Street Journal says that once the FULL restrictions kick in the cost to a family of four will be $6,800 per year. That is $567 dollars per month in new energy taxes for every American family! Jackson is fully aware that President Obama declared “electricity rates will necessarily skyrocket†if his energy plan was enacted? The level of deceit from this administration is alarming! A coordinated effort on the part of the EPA to issue false statements should be investigated.
Jackson also says the Murkowski resolution:
“would ignore and override scientific findingsâ€
Well guess who is ignoring scientific findings related to CO2? The EPA, The President, and Ms Jackson are systematically ignoring 31,487 American scientists who have signed a petition stating:
“The United States is very close to adopting an international agreement that would ration the use of energy and of technologies that depend upon coal, oil, and natural gas and some other organic compounds.
This treaty is, in our opinion, based upon flawed ideas. Research data on climate change do not show that human use of hydrocarbons is harmful. To the contrary, there is good evidence that increased atmospheric carbon dioxide is environmentally helpful.”
This smokescreen to gather money from taxpayers and businesses to fund the political agenda of the left is being blown away by the truth of objective science.
This obsession to increase funding for their many socialist programs is the very cause of the Gulf oil spill that she uses to promote her lies, and destructive agendas. Cap and Trade legislation will devastate our economy and she knows it. If Ms. Jackson would spend more of her time on real world environmental hazards instead of on the fantasy of climate change BP Oil would have been supervised in such a way as to have prevented the spill all together. (This article shows WHY the EPA caused the oil spill.)
Lisa Jackson is simply another politician that lies to promote her agenda. The time has come for Congress to fully investigate the political activities of the EPA and its $10 BILLION budget.
