Was This Really a United States State Department Mission?

Reading the CNSnews.com report by Penny Starr entitled: “Hillary: State Dept. ‘Instrumental in Sealing Deal’ for Lady Gaga’s Gay Pride Gig in Rome” my first thought was: “Is this really a mission of the United States State Department?”

Is it the responsibility of the State Department to find headliners for parades touting immoral homosexual life choices? Is it the responsibility of the United States to spread gay pride into the streets of a city that hosts the papal throne Catholicism? Knowing how anathema homosexuality is to the Muslim world at large, is it wise to put the United States’ endorsement on any activity that would give Muslims another reason for wanting to destroy the West?

The Obama Administration State Department was so against showing us the pictures of a dead Osama bin Laden; using the lame excuse that Islam would use the pictures as a recruiting tool to gain more radicals to the cause of overthrowing the U.S.A. Yet it seems supporting the agenda of homosexuals is of paramount importance to Hillary Clinton and Barack Hussein Obama. Perhaps Obama is neither a Muslim nor Christian. Perhaps Obama is simply an uncaring, heathen golf whore.

Hillary is quoted in the article; seeming to take great “pride” in her Department’s ability to convince the music icon “Lady Gaga” to put in an appearance before a beloved gay audience. In fact this quotation comes from a recent State Department speech during the “State Department’s celebration of LGBT Pride Month”. I had no idea Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered folks were “celebrated” annually at the State Department. Do they have an annual celebration for Black and White and Hispanic and Asian, Straight, Protestant, Moral, Heterosexual people who actually are capable of reproduction and raising children in a gender balanced construct?

Anyway; here’s the quote: ““And then there is the work that our embassy team in Rome has been doing,” Clinton said. “Two weeks ago they played an instrumental role in bringing Lady Gaga to Italy for a Euro Pride concert. Now as many of you know Lady Gaga is Italian American and a strong supporter of LGBT rights,” said Clinton. “And the organizers of the Euro Pride event desperately wanted her to perform and a letter to her from Ambassador Thorne was instrumental in sealing the deal.”

Can’t you just sense the “gay pride” oozing from Madam Clinton? What a coup! The United States Department of State scored with Lady Gaga; getting her to come to Rome of all places to flaunt homosexuality in the Pope’s back yard!

The entire episode is outrageous. We are fighting a war in Afghanistan; winding down but still losing soldiers in Iraq (11 last week); throwing money and air support to a Muslim led rebellion in Libya; taking economic heat from China and Venezuela; watching complacently as Iran builds nuclear power plants and increases its missile capabilities and we are slowly losing our democratic coalitions once carefully nurtured to defend against Muslim Terrorism and the never-ending threats from communist countries.

Domestically we are in a battle against incredibly high gasoline and food prices; major declines in the housing market; destruction of successful business models; major declines in population literacy; trillion-dollar deficits (three times anything President Bush faced); forty-seven million households on food stamps and a major rise in the numbers of single-parent homes where now in the black minority, black single parent homes exceed that of black two-parent families, according to the preliminary 2010 Census data.

But the United States Department of State, headed by Hillary Clinton cannot tout one single success story in any of that catastrophic list. Instead, they can exclaim with great “gay pride” that one of their ambassadors was able to convince a gay rock and roll goddess to grace Rome, Italy with her excitingly wonderful though sexually immoral message.

Score one for Hillary.
