“Moe” Reid, “Larry” Durbin, “Curley” Schumer: Senate’s Stooges

By: Michael John McCrae

Not ten minutes after the House delivered its third bill to cut government spending, the three senate stooges; Harry (Moe) Reid, Dick (Larry) Durbin and Charles (Curley) Schumer appeared before the press to tell them they had again kept the senate from any meaningful debate on the merits of the House Bill. “Moe” Reid said it would be “his” bill that would be voted on or no bill would be sent to President Barack Hussein Obama. Now there’s “compromise” for you.

Man! I don’t know what life would be like without Rush Limbaugh! After watching the three senate stooges pretend they actually cared about their “balance” talking point I decided to log into Rush Limbaugh’s website. I was greeted with this memory: “This is our president [then Senator Barack Hussein Obama] in March of 2006, five years ago: “The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the United States government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance in foreign countries to finance our government’s reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means, ‘The buck stops here.’ Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today on to the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better.”

And I could not agree more with the 2006 version of Senator Barack Hussein Obama! The 2011 debt limit debate is HIS failure in leadership. The 2011 debt limit debate is HIS sign that HE will not pay America’s bills. The 2011 debt limit debate is HIS dependence on Communist China to finance HIS reckless fiscal policies. HE knows the debts HE is responsible for weakens America domestically and internationally. It is HIS leadership that has shifted HIS bad choices onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. HE knows America has a debt problem even greater than the debt problem of 2006 because it was created by HIM. As HE blames Congress it is HIS failure in leadership because HE is supposed to be the leader. Yes, America deserves better than the 2011 version of President Barack Hussein Obama!

It isn’t like our vaunted, Messiah-like President isn’t trying. He has “twittered” his sycophant followers ceaselessly; encouraging them to “twitter” their congressional representatives just as ceaselessly to get things done. That more than 30,000 of his “tweet” buddies have disowned his site due to the endless “spam” hasn’t stopped his efforts to force a one way “compromise” on the Republican led House. I believe there are more and more people every day seeing through the Democrat sham.

Too, the economic news on American GDP growth hasn’t helped the Democrats. Rush Limbaugh’s web site reported on a recent Reuters report: “Experts Revised Economic Data Back to 2007” which was prompted by a second quarter 2011 GDP growth rate of only 1.3 percent while there was a downward revision of the 2011 first quarter to a very anemic 0.4 percent.

Now we know when the Democrats regained control of America’s checkbook. That would be 2006. Well since that year the American public has been lied to about the quarterly GDP growth rates. Quoting Mr. Limbaugh: “We have been lied to about the GDP since 2007. That’s when the Democrats took control of Congress…Pelosi and the Democrats took control of the House in 2007 after the 2006 elections. That’s when the lying about economic growth began. By “lying” I mean by official government reports, official government statistics. Everything we heard from 2007 until today was a lie. It’s been revised down today. It was much worse, and it coincides with the Democrats taking office.”

As much as the Democrats like to blame former President Bush for the current economic woes of the nation the fact is President Barack Hussein Obama’s Democrats have owned the American economy since his declarations of 2006. The unemployment rate has grown from 5.7 to its current 9.2 percent under the watch of Democrats. Gas price averages were still under $2.00 in 2006 and have doubled under the watch of the Democrats. Debt has grown from $8 trillion to $14.6 trillion under the watch of Democrats.

Peggy Noonan, in a recent Wall Street Journal column knows her Barack Hussein Obama: “…he’s good at dismantling. He’s good at critiquing. He’s good at not being the last guy, the one you didn’t like. But he’s not good at building, creating, calling into being. He was good at summoning hope, but he’s not good at directing it and turning it into something concrete…And so his failures in the debt ceiling fight…He demagogued the issue—no Social Security checks—until he was called out, and then went on the hustings spouting inanities…He never offered a plan…So he is losing a battle in which he had superior forces—the presidency, the U.S. Senate…He is a loser. And this is America, where nobody loves a loser.”

Personally I am hoping Ms. Noonan’s estimation translates to the 2012 Ballot Box. America does not need more “tax and spend”. What we need is more fiscal conservatism in the Congress. We need people elected who are willing to “Cut, Cap and Balance”. We do not need Democrats who are unwilling to even review or debate bills; but rather table and kill bills because they simply want to tax American’s more and drive the economy further into debt.

But again, if the “lamestream” media “Obamaniacs” have their way; they will keep trying to paint “T.E.A.” Party Republicans and their independent sympathizers as “terrorists” equal to Al Qaeda, Hezbollah and the moronic Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. You might remember the names of liberal idiots Nicholas Kristof and Thomas Friedman among others in the liberal press who have made such comparisons recently.

As comedy actors; Harry (Moe) Reid, Dick (Larry) Durbin and Chuck (Curley) Schumer can bring tears to my eyes from laughing with abandon. As scumbag, socialist politicians who fear any rational debate on the current debt “crisis” and spout their incessant talking points ad-nausea to their “butt-buddy” media pals…Well, that’s just pathetic.

(Yes, I know. Since writing this the Congress finally came up with some sort of “compromise”, but I’m sure the Democrats will find some way to create a new “crisis” to keep any cuts from taking effect. The “can” will be kicked and the kicked can will probably be Republican.)
