Palestinians: State of Beggars

By: Michael John McCrae

The Palestinians want to be declared a permanent state. My personal opinion is that Palestinians haven’t earned the right to be considered a civilized society. The Palestinians are a backward clan of marauding terrorists; not much different from Somali Pirates or the “rebels” in Libya who are now beheading Libyan blacks.

The leadership of the Palestinian Authority and Hamas (their adjunct) are ruled by hatred of Israel. They have continually assaulted the Israelis with homicide killers and rockets; supplied by Iran. Their murderous actions have been sanctioned by all the Arab States. Not one leader of one Arab nation has come forward to tell the Palestinians to cease their terrorism and work for peace.

Sadly, America has been enabling the Palestinians. We have been sending millions of dollars of taxpayer support to the Palestinian Authority in s fruitless effort to brand the Palestinian State worthy of recognition. Then the diplomatically deranged Mahmoud Abbas goes before the United Nations (to an anti-Israel, anti-American standing ovation) and tells the assembly he will not recognize the Jewish state; he will not recognize Jewish settlements; he will not recognize any claim Israel has on Jerusalem. Then he begged the assembly to recognize a state for the terrorist Palestinians that he personally leads.

In the meantime Saudi Arabia is sending $200 million welfare dollars to support the terrorist, Palestinian, deadbeat minions. This on top of a “Blaze” website report of a “Lebanese Daily Star” interview with the senior Palestinian diplomat in Lebanon, Mr. Abdullah Abdullah who…:

“…emphatically stated that Palestinian refugees the world over would not become citizens of any UN-recognized, newborn Palestinian state. What’s more, Abdullah clarifies that the restriction would not only apply to refugees in countries like Lebanon, Egypt, Syria, Jordan or any of the other 132 countries where Abdullah alleges Palestinians reside, but would even include “Palestinian refugees who are living in [refugee camps] inside the [Palestinian] state.” According to Abdullah, “They are still refugees. They will not be considered citizens.”

“The Star adds: “Abdullah said that the new Palestinian state would “absolutely not” be issuing Palestinian passports to refugees. Neither this definitional status nor U.N. statehood, Abdullah says, would affect the eventual return of refugees to Palestine.”

“How the issue of the right of return will be solved I don’t know, it’s too early [to say], but it is a sacred right that has to be dealt with and solved [with] the acceptance of all.” He says statehood “will never affect the right of return for Palestinian refugees.”

Mr. Abdullah’s statements involve 1.7 million Palestinians currently residing in the West Bank and Gaza. The Palestinians expect these “refugees” to be part of the so-called “right of return” to steal even more Israeli territory; thus smothering Israel as a nation. These refugees receive no support from the Palestinian Authority or Hamas. They are being cared for by an organization called: “United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) and Mr. Abdullah expects UNRWA to “continue its work as usual” using the taxpayer largess of America and Europe. Even the Arab States do not support these 1.7 million refugees.

Nothing is working. It will not matter how many times Israel meets with the terrorist Palestinian Authority. The results will always remain the same. The Palestinians will demand a complete relinquishing of Israel’s territory and a complete return of anyone even remotely considered a Palestinian refugee to Israel proper. The Palestinians will always be a threat to Israel’s national security and the only real solution is the dissolution and complete destruction of Hamas and Al Fatah. Neither Al Fatah nor Hamas are legitimate political entities. They are simply terrorists in business suits.

Palestinians are beggars. The only things produced by the Palestinians are more terrorist Palestinians. The elite Palestinians will not even recognize 1.7 million so-called “refugee” Palestinians as legal citizens. The elites expect Israel to give back lands these Arabs deliberately left when the land was returned to its rightful owners in 1948. They could have stayed and become peaceful Arab citizens of Israel when they had the chance. Many did stay and their decedents are residents of Israel; some even serving in government. They have all the benefits of a free society, unencumbered by poverty, terrorism or Islamic fascism.

The current Palestinian leadership has made itself known. Mahmoud Abbas and his Al Fatah will not (or ever) recognize the State of Israel. Hamas says Palestinian “statehood” has no meaning if Israel is permitted to remain a state. This is the talk of war and it has permeated the halls of the United Nations.

Israel should put up her walls and her next response to Palestinian terrorism should be the complete annihilation of any Palestinian holding a weapon. The United States should cut off any additional funds intended for the Palestinian Authority as part of the continuing war against terrorism. Let Saudi Arabia and the other Arab states support their terrorist proxies.
