It’s the Economy

On Election Day millions will cast their votes.  Whether it’s a second term for Barack Obama or a first term for Mitt Romney please understand this.  Our nation’s financial future hangs in the balance.

We’re $16 trillion in debt.  It’s increasing every single day.

We owe nearly $1.2 trillion to China.

The four biggest budget deficits in U.S. history occurred in just the last four years.

The percentage of Americans who are in the labor force is at a record low.  88 million are not in the labor force23 million want full-time work.  It takes an average of 39 weeks to get a job – even part-time.

Median household income has fallen by $4300 since 2009.  A record 47 million are on Food Stamps. And the good old days was when gas cost only $3 a gallon.

The largest tax hike in U.S. history that hits every single tax bracket starts January 1st.  There will be even fewer jobs available because of it.

5.6 million homes are 30 days or more delinquent on their mortgages.  Or they’re in foreclosure.

Medicare goes broke in 2024.  And Social Security in 2036[**Update:  According to the most recent report from the Social Security Trustees, Social Security with go broke in 2033 -- three years earlier than previously reported.]

In other words, we’re in big trouble.  Vote wisely.  For the sake of your children.11/03/12 It’s the Economy
