Anti-Gun Hypocrites

By: Mark Hyman

Guns continue to be headline news around the country.

And we continue to see anti-gun hypocrites such as David Gregory of NBC News. He mocked the idea of armed officers at schools even though his children attend an elite [and very expensive] private school that has seven armed security officers.

Senator Dianne Feinstein who is leading Capitol Hill’s anti-gun campaign has a concealed carry permit.

Then there’s former Representative Gabby Giffords who was severely wounded in a 2011 shooting spree by a left-wing lunatic who killed six others. Three months earlier Giffords posed with an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle during her reelection campaign.

After her shooting she had a change of attitude toward guns. It’s an understandable emotional response. Like someone who was bitten and is now afraid of dogs. Or a child who hates clowns after a bad experience.

Giffords and her husband — Mark Kelly — even founded an anti-gun group — Americans for Responsible Solutions. They’ve been lobbying to limit the sale of AR-15s and high capacity magazines.

Then hypocrisy reared its ugly head. Days ago, Kelly quietly visited an Arizona gun store to buy a 45-caliber pistol, an AR-15 and high-capacity magazines. Someone took this photo as Kelly filled out the paperwork.

After being caught, Kelly claimed he bought the gun so he could turn it in to the Tucson police department.
