You’re in a hurry, you have to drop one kid off on one side of town and another on the other so you push a little harder on the gas pedal and a few minutes later you see flashing lights and hear the infamous words may I see your drivers license, vehicle registration and proof of insurance. You enroll your child at school and you must provide records from their previous school, birth certificate, shot record, social security number, phone number and address or you cannot enroll them in school. You go to the ER, you must produce a valid ID, and proof of insurance, it is inescapable, that is unless you are in this country illegally you will not be asked for any of those things because they are afraid you will leave.

The schools all cry compassion and refuse to help in any way to ease any investigation into someone’s immigration status but the truth of the matter is number one they cannot legally give any information about a student or family of a student because the Supreme court will not allow them to and their ultimate concern is not for that poor immigrant child who will be left without one or both of their parents it is about their bottom line. All public schools receive money for each child that is enrolled and attending class, it is all about the money it has nothing to do with compassion. Since federal law prevents them from giving out any information the government has no way of knowing if our tax dollars are going to educate an American citizen or an illegal immigrant what a deal they get paid by us to educate the illegal immigrant children and then again they get paid by our state and county taxes, I suppose for that kind of money you can overlook a lot of things.

Then we have the businesses who hire illegal immigrants, Americas newest slave trade at its finest, what a deal you get to hire someone for under minimum wage, never have to worry about unions, health insurance, paid vacations or even disability at that rate you can undercharge and run all of your competition out of business. Everyone looks for the lowest prices on everything so if you are able to pay your people sub human wages and get away with it you can really get ahead, if by chance the city or state you live in is stupid enough to try and stop you well you can just sue them. You and your buddies who use the same business strategy can lobby Washington to make them legal, you can call your customers evil, hate mongers, and racists and they will keep coming back so what have you to fear? You know that if they pass comprehensive immigration reform your social security and income tax problems will simply disappear and you will just keep on going.

It is a strange world we find ourselves in today, when the American people are now second class citizens in their own country. We are the ones forced to provide documents for everything and yet we cannot ask nor demand that those who are here illegally do the same. We would be cited for loitering if we stood outside of stores and asked for work, yet they are allowed full access and some cities even build them special places to go so they will be more comfortable. We are told to be more compassionate that these are humans, while they refuse to address us as such preferring to call us names and imply we are racist. The only real problem with all of this is that we the second class American citizens are paying for this. Every time you get a paycheck you are paying for them to go to school, the hospital, paying for their food stamps, housing subsidies, welfare and every time you go to the grocery store you are paying them, every time you pay state and city taxes you are paying for them. I have noticed though they have stopped saying the only want to be Americans, probably because they do not want to have to provide the documents that we Americans have to, they don’t want to play by our rules, they want to change them.

America we have a choice here continue with the discrimination against taxpaying American citizens or stand up and tell our government local, state and federal that we want them to start listening to us and start demanding documents from everyone not just the citizens. I know it has been a long past two years and I know the presidential prospects look mighty dim on either side of the isle but today we must make our stand, we cannot wait until it is easy, it never will be. We must take our country back if necessary one city at a time, we must take our communities back if necessary one business at a time. We all know the businesses who we suspect are employing illegal immigrants stop doing business with them period, this will be worse than any fine they could get. Call your police departments and sheriff departments and ask them what their policy is on illegal immigration if it is one of look the other way it is time to have a community meeting and discuss ways to force that change. This is not nor has it ever been just a federal issue and we the citizens of this country are about to prove it.

You know how it is, you have a car it is a good car a reliable car, and sure it isn’t as new as it was when you first bought it but there is nothing at all wrong with it. You want a change, a newer model so you go trade in the old reliable car for something newer. And that is what the candidates are saying when they say vote for change, it a vote for change for change sake. Let’s think about it what exactly would you like to change about the United States? Would you like to change the fact that you have freedom of speech? How about we change the fact that we are one of the wealthiest nations in the world? What about freedom of religion? Would you rather not be able to choose where and when you went to church? Maybe you would like to change the fact that even though we have been told every day since Clinton left office that we are in a recession we are still working and still spending money.

Perhaps you would like to have illegal immigration dealt with as a serious crime; problem is not a one of the candidates can or will do anything about it so that is not going to change. Possibly you would like to see gas prices go down, who wouldn’t? None of the candidates plan on drilling here at home instead talking about cars that will not be built until many years down the road that the average American will not be able to afford, so that is not going to change either. If you are looking for them to treat America citizens better that is not going to change either, you see they have already found out that by pandering to the Cubans and Hispanics they can forget about us so that isn’t going to change either. Could it be you actually do not feel as though you pay enough in taxes? When the new Clinton healthcare plan goes into affect she can remedy that for you really quick like.

Obama, is for socialist healthcare as well and I am sure if Teddy Kennedy tells McCain he is for it, he will be as well so there that will be the change, the stuff rattling around in your pockets after they have taken every dollar you have to finance their changes. Not a single one of these people with all of their talk and promises will be able to change the situation you are in right now so if you are voting for change it will not be for you. Hillary cannot make a black person white any more than Obama can make a white person black and neither one would care to acknowledge the fact that both races have had their own struggles and that despite differences in race most people when left alone and not told daily that the other race is out to get you and keep you down can get along very well.

If Clinton wins the presidency she will be the first woman president and while that may sound good it is highly unlikely a woman going in with a chip on her shoulder will be able to work with people to get anything done and the same with Obama, even though he kind of reminds you of the president on 24, the fact is he has still got to work with congress and senate and if elected he has got to be able to do more than be able to communicate well. McCain has made enemies of his own people and followed that up with look I am your nominee get over it and support me you have no other choice, don’t look for him to have many friends when it comes to passing anything.

The only real change that will take place if we have a democrat for president is the fact that the news coverage will change, they will fall all over the democrat president the so-called recession will be nonexistent the flowers will bloom and the sun will shine and the world will be a better place simply because we will have a president that fully believes that Americans are second class citizens only good for paying taxes and dying. All of the talk of hope and change will cease and they will be forced to tell us that all of those plans they have is going to cost money and they need ours. The media of course will spin it as though we are willing giving them most of our paycheck because we believe. The only real change will be the news coverage and that, which is still left rattling around in your pocket and you will have voted for change for change sake.

In the End,
we will remember
not the words of our enemies,
but the silence of our friends.

Senator Obama speaks eloquently when he refers to hope and reminds us all that there is hope in hope, invest in us and we will invest in you – great words but very unrealistic. First of all, the American taxpayers will be doing all of the investing while the government will be investing in what the liberals consider a good investment the poor, the down trodden the illegals and those who chose not to work. If you have a job and pay taxes you are not a good investment, they need those people who need stuff, like food stamps and welfare because while they may not work at a real job the one thing they will do is go out and vote and they will vote for the candidate who promises them some of the taxpayers money.

John McCain is now reduced to paying for emails to tell the conservatives we must unite, he has yet to understand that he is the one with the problem not everyone else. This man has forgotten that conservatives have very long memories and while we may be able to forgive, forgetting is a whole other issue. It is very hard to fathom that we are now faced with a choice between three people who stood up in the senate and attempted to give amnesty to 12 -20 million illegal immigrants, it is even harder to believe that we are faced with a choice between three people who have called the American citizens vile, rude, hate mongers, racists, xenophobes and nativists but we are.

All of this and not every state has had an opportunity to vote for the candidate they wanted to, those who have been left out are forced to vote for the leftovers and to say we don’t like it is an understatement, but to vote for Obama because you cannot stomach McCain is a vote for a tax increase and I don’t know about you but with gas prices and grocery prices going up I simply cannot afford to invest in Obama. Now then that leaves the question well what do we do? That is simple vote for the man or woman you intended to vote for in the primaries and in the general election, if you don’t like them write in Jeff Sessions but do not give in to their well we are all you got scheme, they are not all we have and we need to let them know that.

It is not law that we must vote for the nominee of either party and if we don’t like them rather than not vote or vote for the opposition use your vote to make a statement, use your vote for real change, a change in the voting system, a change that screams really loud we don’t like any of you. We have so many things shoved down our throats we now automatically swallow and today I refuse to swallow any more, I am intent on bucking their system a system built simply for those who follow blindly and take what they dish out. No more, we will not bow to their election results we will vote for people we believe in and we will be bursting the bubble…

Sen. Jim DeMint of South Carolina (and other Republicans) introduced a bill that would strip Berkeley of pork barrel spending.

The Semper Fi Act of 2008 would rescind over $2 million in hidden earmarks for Berkeley in the 2008 Omnibus Appropriations bill, and transfer those funds to the Marine Corps instead.

U.S. Rep. John Campbell (R-Calif.) introduced a companion bill in the House of Representatives.

Senate Democrats have so far blocked Republican efforts to advance the Semper Fi Act.

Instead of adjourning at the end of the day as usual, the Senate “recessed” twice last week, a move that slows the process of adding new bills to the calendar, The Hill newspaper reported.

“The only reason to recess is to block something, and the thing that got blocked by Reid’s stall tactic was the Semper Fi Act,” said Sen. DeMint’s spokesman Wesley Denton. “Democrats have chosen not to defend the Marine Corps, but to pander to anti-war protesters and Berkeley officials that are actively trying to impede military recruitment.”

Reid’s office says the recess was called, not to block Semper Fi, but to give Democrats the flexibility to map their floor strategy on various bills.

You and I know that senator Reid only does what he wants and that he could care less about our military, this is the man who stood up in senate and declared the war lost and he simply cannot have it appear that the American people love their troops so he must hide that fact any way he can I say we call and email so much and so often that they have no way to hide our pride in our military and we demand that any city that turns their back on our military is subject to the Semper Fi Act. Let’s let them know loud and clear that we the people of America expect them to work for us and as such they must pass the Semper Fi Act, Call 1-866-340-9281 it is toll free it will not cost you a penny and you can talk to your senator or if you have the time call them all and I don’t care if you live there they are deciding on an issue that affects all Americans and with that being the case they work for us all because our tax dollars go to pay them so make them listen.

I do not know about you but I have had enough of crap being shoved down my throat and being expected to like it I say this is a citizens revolt, it is time we stood up to those who would have us believe we have no voice in how our country is run from elections to our military we will fight back, this battle has just begun and we have yet begun to fight so call 1-866-340-9281 and do it now, Semper Fi

If Berkeley’s behavior regarding the Marines were not enough to make me question where my tax dollars go this is, $2 million in federal funding that would be stripped by the “Semper Fi Act of 2008” — proposed by Rep. Campbell and Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C. — includes $243,000 in taxpayer dollars for the Chez Panisse restaurant to provide gourmet organic school lunches in the Berkeley School District.

According to the earmark language, Chez Panisse is dedicated to “environmental harmony” and their menu features “Comté cheese soufflé with mâche salad,” “Meyer lemon éclairs with huckleberry coulis,” and “Chicory salad with creamy anchovy vinaigrette and olive toast.”

Now I do not know about your kids but mine they get the regular food like meat and mashed potatoes it isn’t the best in the world and it certainly is not catered by Chez anything, the lucky ones in High school have a McDonalds does that count. This is federal funding in other words it is your tax dollars that go to coddle these children, I would love to know how much we pay for their school and do they have books for every child because some schools don’t.

I have to wonder if they are over crowded. Do they have classrooms that should have been replaced years ago with ceilings falling down and the possibility of black mold in them I doubt it I mean if they give them catered food I would have to assume they have the surroundings to go with it? I think the money should go to the Marines since they are the ones who fight and die so these people can send their kids to a luxurious taxpayer funded school.

Now you can have all of these schools you want, you can protest the Marines, you can escort them out of town, you can eat all of the olive toast you can stomach but not with my money.

Marines reservists from Grand Rapids were forced to cut short their training exercise in Toledo Friday.

The Company A 1st Battalion 24th Marines were conducting an urban warfare exercise at the Madison Building and Promenade Park. Then someone from the mayor’s office told the 200 Marines that the training area was no longer available and to leave the city.

The group was supposed to continue the training on Saturday as well.

So Alpha Company packed up its gear and headed back to Michigan without a reason for the departure. Berkeley city counsel voted to tell the Marine recruiters to leave and if they chose to stay the did so as unwanted invaders and yet you let a city impose a fine on the employment of illegal immigrants or enact any laws against the chosen ones and it is not something the city can do and it either held up in court or declared unconstitutional.

So some one tell me exactly what they difference is here? Is it because these military men and women are citizens and only citizens can be told to leave? These cities have made it very clear they want nothing to do with our military, but if there is an emergency they damn sure want them there. Yet, several cites across this great land of ours have tried to enact laws to stem illegal immigration and have paid dearly in lawsuit after lawsuit and are told it is a federal matter. Well if Berkeley and Toledo can do it why can’t other cities decide whom they wish to reside in their cities? I am passed disgusted, I am seething that these cities can make a public spectacle of our men and women in uniform and no one stops them, they demoralize them to their faces and oh well.

I say we everyone of us email and call our mayors and demand that they vote to tell the illegal immigrants they are unwelcome invaders and they need to leave the ACLU does not have the funds to go after every single city and if they decide to pursue any of them then we can use the defense that we were only following in their footsteps and that by punishing us and not them they are practicing discrimination and we will sue them. While the behavior towards our service men and women is irreprehensible, it has opened up a door that they can not close even if they wanted to and besides if Berkeley and Toledo can do it we can too.

By now I assume the news of Romney dropping out has reality setting in. The fact is by hook or by crook John McCain is going to be our Republican nominee and if he can scare us all to death over the war he will be president as well. Never in my voting life have I ever seen a candidate get so close to the nomination with so many in his party threatening not to even vote if he wins. Kind of reminds me of the Clinton second term when everyone claimed they did not vote for him. Back then I figured it was just a bunch of people who were ashamed to admit they did, but this is different, this feels like the amnesty plan when they told us we were going to get whether we wanted it or not, here we are again being told it is over, it has been decided for you so calm down and deal with it.

I don’t calm down and it will only be over when we the American citizens decide it is over. And I don’t know about you but I say it is far from over. It is time to get mad, it is time to spit nails, it is time to take our country back and I know just the way to do it…. Many of you know I have been asking Jeff Sessions to run since the first amnesty bill and of course he has not but that does not mean we cannot write him in.

First of all let me tell you a little about Mr. Sessions, Sessions was ranked by National Journal as the fifth-most conservative United States Senator in their March, 2007 conservative/liberal rankings. He backs conservative Republican stances on foreign affairs, taxes, and social policy. He opposes abortion and illegal immigration. Sessions serves on the Senate Judiciary Committee, and is its only member to have unsuccessfully faced the Committee before becoming a senator. Sessions was a supporter of the “nuclear option,” a tactic favored by then-Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist in the spring of 2005 to stop filibusters of judicial nominees. When 14 Senators led by Republican John McCain of Arizona and Democrat Ben Nelson of Nebraska struck a deal to avert the option, Sessions was one of the agreement’s most severe critics.

Now before you tell me it could never work, let’s give this some serious thought here shall we? First of all if John McCain is our nominee we have a choice between the Democrats or a Democrat wanna be. Take a close look at who this man considers his friends – Teddy Kennedy & John Kerry. Now you tell me what is going to be the difference if this man is elected either way we loose. Now how many of you remember when the conservatives took both houses, I certainly do and I draw on that memory when I need a lift in spirits, not because our republicans did anything thanks to Frist, but because that night I thought the liberal media was going to have a collective heart attack. The late Peter Jennings even said on the air what is happening out there. Well my friends it is time we set their heads to spinning again, think about it the chosen ones, not chosen, Cokie Roberts will choke on her pom pom.

And to make it even more fun when you get asked who you voted for tell them one of the chosen ones…. What better way to show them all that the American people don’t settle and we will not calm down and we will not just deal with it and what better way to show the Mexican president his plan is not working…. He said today “It seems to me that the most radical and anti-immigrant candidates have been left behind and have been put in their place by their own electorate,” Calderon told the Los Angeles Times on Wednesday, the day after the Super Tuesday primaries. Have you been put in your place? Are you willing to hold your nose and vote the party line? Have we lost so much dignity that that we will allow anything to represent us? This is not over until we say it is over and I really don’t think the American people want what we have been handed and I think we need to write in a real man for our nominee. I know it has never been done before, I know it would take everyone working together and I know that it would take a lot of work but I also know that when they told us that the amnesty bill was inevitable we proved them wrong I am asking you to once again show these people that the American people are in charge.

If it is true and it must be so that cities and states cannot decide who can come and go in their cities including illegal immigrants then it must be true that this city cannot legally expel the Marines and that Code pinks actions are discriminatory and harassment at it highest form. If American cities are considered being inhumane by simply requiring employers to check social security numbers then surely “is not welcome in the city, and if recruiters choose to stay, they do so as uninvited and unwelcome intruders.” Is past inhumane and should not be allowed to stand. Our tax dollars go to this city in ways such as road construction and such and I am willing to bet the university gets our tax dollars as well. I say no more!! Call your senators and email them and tell them not one more penny of our tax dollars is to go to that city… City of Berkeley you are an unwanted city.

They’re really not as bad as everyone make them out to be. They are a simple people, go to church, volunteer at school, volunteer in their community and yet so many people believe them to be pure evil. I suppose the way to end this misconception is to tell you about some of them. I will not be naming names and just about anything I put to paper could be said about any of them. He is a proud Grand Father who will show his grand kids pictures any time you ask and many times that you don’t. He lives a simple life, goes to work, comes home, watches a little TV and about the only time he gets real excited is when his team wins. She is a working mother, not by choice but by circumstances you really just cannot make ends meet with only one salary these days so in the morning she kisses her babies goodbye and heads off to work, after work she picks up the kids and heads home for her second job, you still got to eat and eating out is not a privilege that they have.

She is a stay at home mom who has noticed that most of the stores in her area are now covered with gang signs and is scared to shop there much less take her babies in. But she wonders the isles any way looking for a bargain she sees lots of people there and would love to talk to them but she does not know their language and figures they don’t know hers or they would be speaking it. She wonders down the isles and isles of ethnic foods just to buy some milk and macaroni and she wonders why it is she must go to the back of the store just to find a few things she needs. He is an unemployed construction worker, born to the trade as he was once the owner of a family owned company seems they don’t like his family values any more. He started noticing that business was slipping and he started charging less and less until one day he realized he was working for free and decided to hell with it.

She is the young student who just once would love to go to class and not have to pass the guys leering at her in the hall and the gestures they make are just simply disgusting and it would even be nicer if maybe one day out of the year she did not have to try and get past the girls standing in the door way talking in their language and totally ignoring everyone else, she has wondered why no one will make them move or at least demand they speak English, but decides it is best not to make an issue of it since some of the guys are their boyfriends. They are just every day ordinary American citizens who have simply had enough, enough of seeing everything written is Spanish or if not the promise of someone inside who speaks it. They are tired of seeing people loitering at the stores they go to and wondering if it is safe to go inside. They are the people who wash your car, they are doctors and nurses, moms and dads, they are the people who either by birth or by persistence managed to be heirs to the great promise land where everyone wants to go and others want to destroy, America. They are the ones who firmly believe that since they pay the taxes to make this nation run they should have a say in how it is run, The Americans.

They have been stepped on, picked over, used up, demoralized, and criticized by the very people their taxes go to pay. Sometimes their complaints get loud and boisterous, sometimes they make people mad, but they have never once worn a white sheet, burned a cross or for that matter taken the law into their own hands. They believe in the law of the land, they believe the constitution was written for them by people just like them and they believe in defending it till death. They follow the law and expect everyone else to and they expect the laws to be enforced, they are the Americans, now you see they aren’t so bad are they??

From the people who brought us the amnesty bill and poll after poll telling us we liked it they now bring us our next president; or at least that is what they hope. You see, John McCain won Florida and that my friends is supposed to convince us that this race is all over and John McCain is our nominee. But wait a minute. They forgot to mention a few things. Big surprise right?

Little things like Thousands of Bay area voters have switched their party affiliations since Aug. 25, when the Democratic National Committee voted to strip Florida of its delegates to the nominating convention. Florida’s sin? Holding a presidential preference primary Jan. 29, a week before national party rules allow. For some switchers, the DNC penalty prompted them to move to the Republican Party. The national GOP’s spanking wasn’t quite so heavy-handed. Florida Republicans will lose half of their convention delegates for jumping ahead in the calendar. “Having my vote count for half of something is better than voting for nothing,” said Jerry Johnson, 56, a retired chef who switched his registration Dec. 28 – from Democrat to Republican – at a Seminole Heights public library.

So as usual Florida’s election is about as clear as mud and has really nothing to do with who wins and who loses, but if you listen to the media John McCain is the next coming of Christ. So there you have it primaries were moved up, people voting earlier than normal, in Geneva Illinois, they are saying it is entirely possible that illegal immigrants are registering to vote, “It’s a very difficult thing to handle,” said Kane County Clerk Jack Cunningham, who is in charge of elections and overseeing voter registration. “We never single out any group. There has to be a presumption that they are citizens unless it’s proven otherwise. We, at this level, don’t have much control over the issue.” According to a mail-in form provided on the clerk’s Web site, voter registration applicants must answer “yes” or “no” to the question: “Are you a citizen of the United States?” Applicants also are given the option to submit a driver’s license number or Social Security number, but doing so is not required, according to the form. Either a photo identification or another document — such as a utility bill or paycheck — can be submitted, the form states.

They plan to shove McCain and his open border zealots down our throats just like they did the amnesty bill and they are going to tell us that according to the polls that are supposedly taken only by American CITIZENS he is what we want, this is nothing more than just another shuck and jive by the media and the open borders group, because they know if the manage to get McCain elected amnesty will soon follow and that is where we the American CITIZENS must stop them. I don’t care if you have never voted in your entire life it is time to do it now. A vote for McCain, Obama, or Clinton is a vote for amnesty pure and simple and we have worked to hard to hand it to them now. This is an emergency situation we must get everyone we know registered to vote and we must if we have to drive them to the polls, because I can assure you that they are and none of those candidates are even being shy about what they plan to do anymore. They are standing up there telling them yes we can and we want you to come out of the shadows and the fact that they are not even bothering to hide what they are up to tells me that they know that they can get the Latino votes and that is all they care about.

It is time we taught them a lesson, when millions of American people go to the polls and vote for someone else I don’t think they are going to be strutting around so much do you. If you do not vote you are saying you want amnesty, is that really what you want?
