For those who are complaining about Obama’s conduct these days, feel blessed; he could be trying to act presidential. Then where would the country be? Barack Obama isn’t the first president to become totally frustrated when things went beyond their comprehension. Few have been as blatantly obtuse as Obama. Since they were as incapable of decision making as Obama in many cases that’s proven to be a gift from God. Obama knows he’s in a checkmate position. Rather than study the board to contemplate a positive move, he’s off to Rio and Carnival. Obama knows he has twenty months to sink or swim. While his handlers are studying the tea leaves, why not have a little fun with the wife and kids?

The Rio Carnival may be over but in Rio the music keeps on playing and the party keeps on going for weeks. Rio is Obama’s kind of town, party time 24/7.

Most executives I’ve known use their commute time between the office and home to plan and reflect. Maybe the distance between the oval office and the living quarters in the Whitehouse isn’t long enough to give Obama time to think. Then there’s the golf course. But playing eighteen holes, pontificating and posturing for the media again doesn’t give much time to seriously consider the state of the nation and the world. Poor Obama, he was born with a Welfare Foot in his mouth and he’s never been able to shed it. Paraphrasing the former Liberal Governor of Texas Ann Richards.

From birth Obama has relied on government as his decision maker. Now that he is the government there is no one there to do the heavy lifting for him. True he has more advisors than the Pope but no one to point the finger of blame at him when things don’t go right. During his brief stint as a state legislator and his partial term as a US Senator, Obama has been able to point an accusing finger and say George did it . Obama’s ineptness is showing up. He doesn’t know how to cover it up and his advisors are turning on him with a polite excuse they have family commitments that are more pressing. Yah ri—ght.

We must face the fact the president is at a loss what to do and his ego is such that he can’t admit he’s on the wrong path to recovering any momentum. Obama doesn’t have any idea how the country’s monetary system works. He thinks if the Fed prints money, that’s all there is to it. Any student of Marx / Lenin who attended public school and Ivy League Universities knows that’s how it works; print and spend, print and spend. The day of reckoning has arrived. Obama is on the golf course and he isn’t here to greet it. It seems the new Whitehouse motto is, “I’ll get back to you”. A person should have more on their resume than I graduated from Harvard, Princeton or Yale as a qualification to advise any president. Former [also ran] Senator Chris Dodd field tested golf courses and clubhouse cantinas in the Dominican Republic for the Peace Corp. That’s at least one resume step beyond Obama.

I’m sure in his day, had he have qualified, John Lennon would have made a viable candidate for President. Sometimes the public just gives up of politics and goes for any Rock Star image that happens to have charisma and a message of hope and change. Even Bill Clinton, the rockingest rock star of all, had something to offer aside from giving up at the first signs of real trouble on the home front. Bill Clinton became an American Icon because he accepted impeachment with dignity and a certain grace. Criticism and Obama are like oil and water; the two will never mix. Not as long as there’s a “George did it” left in him.

As proof democracy doesn’t always fall from above, tomorrow the Egyptian people will vote on a new constitution giving real power to the people. One might ask how could they accomplish this and not have had the benefit of an Obama counseling. I would suggest because they didn’t have Obama to listen to that the new constitution may have some real meaning. The Egyptians new constitution is coming from the people not unlike the Tea Party in America. Thomas Jefferson said, ” when the people fear the government it’s tyranny, when the government fears the people its liberty.” This was proven to be true in America in 1776 and again in Egypt in 2011. Obama is treating these Arab uprisings about the same as he views March Madness. He chooses his winners and predicts the losers then sits back to watch. When one of his selections is losing he changes the game by getting the interested parties to change the rules. As president he thinks he can do that.

For the first time in thousands of years the Arab people are rising up to demand more personal freedoms from their leaders and the Obama administration play parlor games with their efforts. One of the first foreign engagements the young country of America was involved in was against the Barbary Pirates in Tripoli in the early 1800s. That was the beginning of America extending a helping hand to the oppressed people of the world. More often than not America is criticized for getting involved. In nearly every case the persons who have the boot on their necks are better off after America shows up. Ronald Reagan’s statement “Mr. Gorbachev tear down this wall” was responsible for half of Europe gaining it’s freedom and in addition has made Mr. Gorbachev a part time American resident with a foundation in San Francisco. There something about America that Mr. Obama doesn’t get. My question to Obama is where does he find it better than here?

As a rehabilitated expatriate who’s been on five continents and visited twenty seven countries, I have yet to find anything that compares favorably with America. It makes me wonder where Mr. Obama is looking that he finds parts of the rest of the world superior to America. Perhaps it’s because Obama’s standards are so low.

Playing political parlor games wasn’t what the 2010 elections were all about. John Boehner and Mitch McConnell seem to be leading Republicans down the same old road Congress has been traveling for years. The next national elections are twenty months away and you can bet your grandchildren’s future a lot of congress persons from both parties will be ousted if they don’t start paying attention to what the public is saying. If Congress doesn’t have what it takes to get the job of cutting and spending done without raising taxes, then they should seek employment elsewhere.

Democrats failed to pass a 2011 budget setting Republicans up for what the Democrats thought would be a repeat of the Clinton / Gingrich compromise where Democrats could accuse Republicans of all sorts of despicable things and have them bend like a wilted lily. None of today’s Democrats has the charisma to pull off a stunt like that again. That took chutzpa only Bill Clinton had. The Rock Stars of Congress today are the Tea Party freshman; they aren’t likely to follow the old tried and not so true ways of congress.

Shutting down the government is a ruse. Supposedly they shut down all but essential services. Who in the government these days is going to admit they aren’t essential? That would be the kiss of death for about fifty percent of bureaucrats, departments and programs in Washington. Neither party has thought this thing through to meet the public’s perception. The only people who are on top of this are the new congress men and women who have Tea Party backing. If they have the Tea Party with them they don’t need the support of national political parties to prevail.

Rush Limbaugh suggested the Tea Party could become a third political party if the Republican establishment ignores these new congress persons. That isn’t necessarily a good idea. It’s possible to run and win a seat in Congress as an Independent. Anyone committed to a cause doesn’t need a party behind them. They have the voters [aka] the Tea Party Movement at their backs. Yesterday is gone, today is somewhat questionable, and tomorrow is a new day with new political objectives. Let the establishment burn and learn.

The shift in American politics isn’t from Democrat to Republican, it’s from Liberal to Conservative. It’s going to be up to the national political parties to choose their future. Politics as it’s been practiced in Washington for decades is over, voters have awakened and are getting involved. Anyone running for political office from either party from village representative to President of the United States who doesn’t acknowledge the Tea Party Movement as a major moving force is fighting an uphill battle. In 2010 when the Tea Party supporters were demonstrating, the left was never able to prove any of their allegations of radicalism, racism as hard as they tried. The left is proving their bias and lack of civility with every protest. These things don’t go unnoticed by the general public. The public has to decide who they want representing them; clear thinking, rational individuals such as conservatives or radical bigots who scream holler and threaten, the liberalized union zealots.

The Madison Wisconsin protests weren’t about teachers or their grievances. They were about who has the power over government decision making; unions or elected officials. Private sector union membership is at its lowest point in over fifty years. Unions are like a worm cut one in half and it doesn’t kill it. What you get is two live worms. The unions, in order to survive, made a deal with the devil and moved over to the public sector where the grazing was easy. It’s easier to bribe a politician than to threaten a man who needs a job in order to maintain a family.

When union demands on the private sector get excessive, business have the option of crossing borders. Jobs go away, not the demand for products. When the world needs a mouse trap they really don’t care by who or where it was made. They’ll buy any old mouse trap that’s available and gets rid of the rats. The jack-boot tactics of the 1930s union thugs will not prevail with today’s informed public. Unions putting out what amounts to a fatwa on a popularly elected governor of any state isn’t going to set well with the public. After the Arizona shooting Obama called for a new civility, for toning down the hostility. It didn’t happen even in his own comments. What is it about liberalism that brings out the worst in people?

Without realizing it, the Tea Party has adapted one of Teddy Roosevelt’s more popular principles, “Speak softly and carry a big stick.” While the Tea Party speaks softly but firmly and picks up their own trash, the union protesters scream holler make a mess and leave the trash for unionized trash collectors to deal with.

There was an article on one of the internet blogs explaining how one of the trade unions went to homeless shelters to recruit picket marchers because their union members were all gainfully employed on other functioning jobs. Trade union members are notorious for taking non-union side jobs during strikes and leaving the picketing to the minimum wage, non-union crowd. At least when the Tea Party assembles it’s you and me and the neighbor next door not a single person is paid for their appearances. If teachers had been doing their jobs over the past half century the public would understand it was self motivation and dedication to principles, not a union membership, that made America what it was until a few years ago. Ask any teacher today to give a brief on Concord, Bunker Hill, Appomattox or the Alamo and most won’t have a clue what you’re asking for.

America is turning around thanks to the Internet, Talk Radio, Cable Television and the Tea Party Movement. It isn’t going to happen overnight but it will happen slowly but surely. And when it does it will be a better America than it’s ever been. Gods greatest experiment can’t be distorted by man’s greed and indifference to the principles the nation was founded on.

That’s a pretty bold statement to make until we look at some of their arguments for not resolving the enormous debt congress has racked up over the years. Harry Reid wants to subsidize Cowboys. Chuck Schumer wants to subsidies everyone but Cowboys. The rest of the Democrats in congress don’t care who gets subsidized as long as it’s someone. Subsidies are the mother milk of politics. Government can’t exist without them. If government isn’t there to pander to special interests and the preferred class then what good is it? This seems to be the attitude of most congressional Democrats. Tax and spend is in their blood and even the threat of not being reelected can’t seem to get it out. Either that or they’re totally ambivalent to the world outside of Washington. Congress men and women were once our next door neighbors. There’s that old saying “You can take the Congressman out of his / her district but their district will still know who he / she is”. If that isn’t an old adage it should be!

The battle to control spending and budgets, to get school districts, municipalities, states and the federal government back on sound footing, is something that should have been done 50 years ago. The best of presidents looked into the future and saw great things borrowed money could buy not thinking beyond their short time in office. If they got America to the top of the next mountain that would be time enough to start paying on the national debt. The problem with that was before America reached the top of the mountain a new president was elected and the spending spree started all over. Presidents have always been blamed for the nation’s debts. Without the approval of Congress, presidents can’t do much. President request and Congress acts. President Obama has gone further outside of the Constitution, spending the nation’s money more than any president in history. That’s about to come to a halt.

The chances of Barack Obama being a two term president and Democrats controlling either house of Congress after 2012 become slimmer by the day. In 1860 congress became so corrupt and one party had such a strangle hold on the nations politics, a new Republican party was formed and won the Presidency and Congress in short order. New political parties are able to do this because they have the support of the voters. Even though the Tea Party has repeatedly said they have no intention of becoming a third political party they may have no choice. If in 2012 things don’t change and a new mentality doesn’t take hold in Washington, the Tea Party may be forced to become the new Republican Party of 1860.

Today, unlike days gone by, the public has more information available to them than they can absorb. There was a time when newspapers, then radio and later television were the public’s only connection to any politics aside from the old men on the front porches of country stores discussing events. From local to national, there was a limited and biased flow of information. Then the internet, talk radio and cable television came into the picture and sources for information were all around us; even more than people could handle. The political biases remained, but now they were equally divided between right and left.

In the past 30 years or so the internet has provided an avenue of communication for the average person if they so desire. Presidents, Congress and the media can no longer hide behind anonymity of protected speech as reported by a bias liberal media. It’s all out there in cyberspace for anyone with the curiosity of a 10 year old to reach up, grab it and run with it. Political anonymity has the lifespan of a sand flea. The eyes and ears of cyberspace are everywhere. Usually it’s those who the politician trusts most who are the ones spilling the beans. I think it was Harry Truman who said “If you are in Washington and want someone around you can trust, get a dog”.

The results of the 2010 midterm congressional elections rocked Democrats off their feet. Democrats had convinced themselves they were invincible. They had convinced themselves the Tea Party was a toothless tiger no one could possibly support. The Democrats primary target in 2010 was making sure Sarah Palin didn’t gain any momentum as a presidential candidate for 2012. So far they haven’t changed strategy much except they’ve expanded their hatred for everything conservative to the entire field of Republicans, especially the new freshmen Tea Party congress people who seem to be having a very profound say in how things are going to roll in the future. Obama and his Democratic ilk can pontificate till the swallows come back to Capistrano. But if the job situation doesn’t improve substantially and the defect doesn’t come down by November 2012, Obama’s Thanksgiving dinner will be a well cooked Goose.

Nearly every day some well positioned Democrat makes some foolish statement even the mainstream media takes apart. There’s beginning to be more idiots in Congress than Harry Reid and Joe Biden, I know Joe is Vice President but he’s also serves as President of the Senate. Democrats are totally off their mark, and if they don’t get back on soon they are going to think they’ve been hit by a tsunami. Fifty years of playing Three Card Monty with the vot ers money is enough. The most prolific Con-Men in America are our own Congress man and women. They continually lie, cheat and steal all day and sleep like baby’s at night.

For the past fifty years Congress has had their way in legislating how society should work. It hasn’t worked. Every year, the elements that make the nation work seem to decrease the advantage of citizens and seem to increase the advantage of elected politicians. It seems obvious we have too much government with far too many people living out of the taxpayers pocket books. It’s time the taxpaying public received a break for a change. There are a thousand way of conserving without throwing anyone under the bus. All that is needed is for men and women in congress willing to bit the bullet and do the right things.

With a few more honest conservatives elected to congress the wind of change will blow in the public’s favor.

Harry Reid, in an attempt to discredit Republicans in the house, invoked the name of Baxter Black as being a victim of the current attempts at reducing the national deficit. Dr. Baxter Black is a former Veterinarian who after several years of talking to the animals, crossed over to the dark side and became an entertainer of sorts. Baxter Black organized a group of rhythmically talented men into a group he calls Cowboy poets. Cowboy poetry depending on your perception is either western philosophy personified or Hill Billy Rap without the violence. Cowboy poetry is the holy grail of the Rodeo crowd and the horsy people. Cowboy poetry has deep meaning and for many it’s a narrative of the times.

The new conservative house is contemplating ways to bring government spending under control. One of the suggestions has been dropping funding for the Endowment for the Arts, PBS and NPR, the three endowments that drop a few bucks on Baxter Black throughout the year. Once a year Baxter Black holds a get together for his Cowboy poet group, usually somewhere in Harry Reid’s home state of Nevada. They all get together and entertain each other and anyone else who happens to show up. I happen to like Cowboy poetry. My late brother Barbwire Bob was a de facto member of the Baxter Black group. These Cowboy poets will never go down in the annals of history as great orators, but they will always be remembered by the working Cowboys throughout the west. They won’t need a government grant to make that happen.

I doubt Baxter Black ever gave much thought to the real cost of that grant he gets from the government by way of some do good organization. The Endowment for the Arts sounds like something no one could object to. Few realize besides Baxter Black’s group they’re funding the desecration of the flag, Christianity, mom and apple pie.

In the past fifty years the liberalism of America has become a cancer that’s well on the way to killing the world’s greatest society. The really great thing about America is everyone has a right to be less than their expectations. No one is pigeon holed for their inability to reach the top of the mountain. That’s what Cowboy poetry is about. It tells the story of mediocrity with a flare of realism. Cowboy poetry says it’s OK to be average. Harry Reid is trying to take it where it doesn’t belong.

I’ve been a fan of Baxter Blacks for years, He’s a cartoon character who could have been a stand in for Yosemite Sam; the voice, the mustache and all. I was never concerned with his politics. Even now I don’t know what they are nor do I care. He’s entertaining and that’s what counts these days. I’ve had the opportunity to listen to several Cowboy poets over the years and although none will ever make it on American Idol, their message has been clear; “Become a concerned American or get the hell out of the way”. The Cowboy poets don’t say everyone has to have the same degree of patriotism they do say their patriotism can’t be messed with.

America is facing the most crucial time in its history and still congress fights over semantics. The time’s come for elected officials who realize it’s not about politics any longer; it’s about the survival of the nation. I can’t help but think Baxter Black and his group of poets wouldn’t be more than willing to forgo the government money if it meant digging the country out of the hole it’s in if only with a few dollars. There are hundreds of Baxter Blacks and Barbwire Bobs who can’t understand why congresses solution to the enormous deficit is higher taxes rather than cutting spending.

If the Obama administration thought they got a shellacking in 2010, in 2012 the whole farm is going to get a clear coat. 2010 was only an example of things to come. Voters have had it with the pick pockets they’ve elected to represent them. When it was only the loose change they went after it was tolerable. Now that the politicians are reaching into the wallets of the voters, stealing their credit cards, that’s unacceptable. If the public is expected to live within their means, why not the government? Are all those duplicated departments and duplicated programs really necessary? Are there really as many people in need as the government claims or are they just there because that’s where the easy money is?

I would like to take a moment to talk about my brother, Barbwire Bob. He was a poet, artist and a top hand around a ranch. If it had anything to do with livestock Bob knew how to do it. His art was never considered spectacular, but it was more than acceptable. His poetry had an amateurish honesty only found in the works of those who believe deeply in what they say and write. I didn’t have the opportunity to know my brother as well as I would have liked. When I was ten, the family of seven children split up and we each went our separate ways. Bob stayed on the ranch with our dad and aside from a few years in the Marine Corp he didn’t stray far from home. Barbwire Bob was a story teller and though he didn’t commit any of his stories to paper, some can still recall his wisdom and frivolity 20 years after his demise. There’s no question Barbwire Bob will be remembered for many years to come. We should all be that well regarded.

I would suggest to Harry Reid he should worry more about the debt Congress is leaving for our grandchildren than how Baxter Black will find the where with all to perform for his friends and bring fame and fortune to Nevada. It’s called prioritizing Senator Reid.

America has the capabilities of becoming the world’s largest oil producer, America has raw product in abundance. All it would take is removing the politics and a sincere effort on the part of the government to do the right thing for once.

Oil is as essential to man’s existence on this earth as sunshine and water. There isn’t anything on this planet that doesn’t at some point come in contact with a petrochemical product. There simply aren’t enough organic substitutes to replace all petroleum products. There comes a time when we must set aside our biases and believe there is a God and He / She has a pretty dammed good idea of what they’re doing. It’s time to question the reliability of those zealots who preach global warming is a man made phenomena. Global warming has gone from a questionable theory to a cottage industry being milked by charlatans.

The Obama administration or the administration that will replace his in 2013 could make an agreement with all private sector oil companies, [no nationalized oil companies need apply] to drill anywhere in America within reason and sell their product on the world market. The federal government would forgo any tax on crude oil products for a period of twenty-five years leaving taxing to the individual states to benefit from as they see fit. The federal government would benefit tax wise from the billions of dollars collected in manufactured and refined product sales.

Petroleum products would have to be removed from the daily commodities markets in order to remove the pricing from market speculation. In order to participate, the drilling companies would have to agree to a base price of one dollar a gallon [$ 48.00 dollars a barrel] for crude oil at the well head. Any increases would be agreed to bases on general inflation worldwide. It isn’t the oil producers benefiting from the high prices of crude oil it’s the financial speculators, or as most of us like to call them The Wall Street Boys, [and Girls].

This kind of an arrangement would send a message to the current producers of oil and to OPEC, the Gravy Train ran off the track and won’t be coming back anytime soon. Tensions in the oil producing nations in the Middle East are not because that the west is stealing their national resource, but rather how the citizens can best share in the windfall profits. They see educated foreigners coming in taking well paying jobs only the elite of their tribe are allowed to participate in. We can’t fault the peasants we must fault the tribes leaders and the westerners of enable them. A forced humility would go a long way towards reeducating the Arab world how to go along to get along.
<br .
In order to succeed this proposal must be kept out of the hands of congress. Congress can make a loser out of a one horse race. It should be created and managed by an independent commission of product knowledgeable people [sans] all politicians.

I’m sure this sounds like Apple Pie, Granny loves you and Kumbaya all rolled into one. There’s been 50 years of politicking around the energy situation than hasn’t worked. Obama’s electric cars are a stupid idea that won’t work because there’s no supporting infrastructure. My proposal has an infrastructure and enough latitude so as not to curtail technological advancements. The Obama either or approach isn’t in the peoples best interests, what’s needed are more ideas coming from where good ideas have always come, from We the People.

Having spent a life time dealing in new unproven ideas I can hear the skeptics tearing my proposal apart. I can also hear those three men in the back of the room putting their heads together saying this idea has merit with a little tweaking here and there we can make this work, their names are Benjamin Franklyn, Henry Ford and Thomas Alva Edison.

Ideas not worth trying never workout, those worth the long shot are usually the things society is built on.

Man evolves in strange ways; not only physically but mentally and spiritually as well. After centuries of oppression the people of the Middle East are awakening to a new realization they can be free to pursue a life of self determination. What westerners call democracy isn’t something Middle East Arabs can walk out their door and pluck from a tree. First they must fight for the right to self-rule. Then they must agree on all of the many parameters involved in self governing. The agreeing part is where it usually all breaks down due to lack of experience governing. Winning an armed revolution is only the first step. Uniting the public and creating a workable government is far more difficult. This is where evolution comes into the picture. Starting from nothing and creating something the tribe / country can all accept is far more than a revolution it’s a life altering experience.

The political structures of the people of the earth have evolved in various ways as the tribes saw fit; some with more aggressive leadership than others, none as democratic as America. The founding fathers didn’t invent the word “democracy” however they did modify it to mean something the Ascent Greeks would never have understood. For more than 200 years America has struggled and fought wars to maintain the democratic Republic the founders gave us. Today that struggle is coming from within, America has elected and appointed officials working every day to bring this country down and make it part of a socialist world government.

The first two years, from 2009 to 2011, the Obama administration and the 110th Democratic congress ignored the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Both the President and Congress refused to recognize the second minority party seated in congress; Republicans. As far as the Obama administration and the Democratic congress are concerned, there is no tenth amendment guaranteeing states’ rights. The Obama administration and the 110th Congress have done their best to strip all authority from the states and the people in violation of the tenth amendment. This is an example of evolution changing the flow of a seemingly well organized government. The shift from a constitutional government to a socialist oriented government started in 1933 with the inauguration of Franklyn D. Roosevelt. Socialism been slowly and methodically creeping forward ever since. The past 77 years have brought some dark spots for America, most of them in our foreign policies and how we’ve treated other less prosperous nations. The countries politicians deemed third world nations, Banana Republics, in which arrogant politicians become victims of evolution. 2008 and 2012 will surely be a cleansing time in American politics for those arrogant politician.

There’s a simple solution to all the turmoil in the Middle East. It’s called “Drill Baby Drill”. The Obama administration could make an agreement with the Oil Companies guaranteeing them a 10 year moratorium on shutting down any well sites for their cooperation in maxing oil prices at $ 48. [A barrel], a dollar a gallon for crude and let America who has abundant oil reserves supply the world for a while. That would dry up the money markets of the Middle East put OPEC out of business and give the Muslim world something to think about. Can this happen yes, will it happen no, there isn’t a chance Obama will turn of his Muslim brothers and sisters. However it could make a very good campaign issue for the next Republicans candidate for president.

Obama may not be Muslim but he is a sympathizer for most things Muslim and he’s very anti White America. Ethnics in America do better economically than anywhere in the world. The problem seems to be their mental evolutionary process hasn’t caught up with their economic standards. That’s because their liberal masters the Ivy League elitists keep knocking them down. The only parts of Obama that’s black are the parts that show, the rest of him is as white as his Ivy League buddies. Obama’s paternal brothers and sisters who still live in Africa are at the poverty end of humanity and Obama ignores them. No one knows how many siblings there are it’s been suggested his father Obama Sr. planted his seed all over the continent of Africa. The ones we know about are dirt poor and it looks like they’ll stay that way if their counting on brother Obama for a hand up.

Many of us knew there was a break in the evolution chain the day Barack Obama was elected president. His entire history reads like Alice in Wonderland. There was and is nothing substantive about Barack Obama that qualifies him to be president of the United States of America. His entire history what little there is seems to be a fabrication that defies verification. No one seems to be coming forward saying they knew Barack Obama [aka] Berry Dunham when. Barack Obama is in fact a fabrication of the Chicago political machine and the mainstream liberal media. The liberal media spent their time chasing unfounded rumors and innuendo about Sarah Palin and missed the real issues of whom and what the real presidential candidate Barack Obama was and is? Now after two years of failures the mainstream media is finally asking some serious questions, only MSNBC and Chris Matthews are hanging on to a sliver of hope that Obama may in fact be the new Messiah.

The natural order of evolution surpasses mans political ambitions and for all those who have gone before Barack Obama and is loyal cohorts and failed we can look forward to his failing as well. No individual or no ideology is greater than Gods plan for the earth and the universe, man is simply the renter God is the landlord.

Perhaps this isn’t relevant to evolution but I’ve not seen in my lifetime the despicable behavior we’ve seen coming from the left since these union inspired protests began. Cowardly Democratic congress persons have fled the states of Texas, Wisconsin and Indiana rather than standing up for what they believe and acting like elected representatives are supposed to act. Those AWOL congress persons should be recalled or at least censured for their cowardly behavior. If they didn’t have the stomach for a good fight they shouldn’t have run for the position. The behavior of these runaway congress persons is unacceptable.

America will survive the Obama administration as we’ve survived others in the past. The scars will heal and life will get back to normal as it always has. Thank God for the wisdom of the founding fathers who foresaw future Obama’s.
And why is that? Could it be because unions don’t abide by democratic election rules and all their decisions are made by automatic appointment? Unions collect millions in membership dues and all they have to spend it on is rent, utilities and political bribes, [also known as lobbying]. And yes I neglected to add private union parting at plush tropical resorts. A Union management job may be one of the most fun jobs with the least work involved any adult can ever hope to find.

Somewhere tucked away in the bowels of the nation’s capital is a subculture of malcontents posing as the good guys out to restore America to something it never was. I recently counted thirty one organizations that claim to be the progressive salvation of America. They had such clever names as Green for All, 1 Sky Party, Blue Green Alliance, MoveOn.org, AFL-CIO, Serra Club and Media Matters just to name a few. All of these organizations are promoting the American Dream of a socialized America. The phrase American Dream predates any of these originations by decades. The American dream is the epitome of the Declaration of Independence and what it meant to the early colonials. They may not have realized it but Leif Erikson and Cristobel Colon. aka [Christopher Columbus] had the American dream. The meaning of the American Dream can’t be hijacked by a group of unionized socialist thugs any more than the country can.

There’s no question the handlers who direct the Puppet President in the oval office are also in charge of the malcontents protesting physical responsibility by the various state governments, their motto seems to be “We got ours, screw the rest.” This is something the public is no longer buying.

A few weeks ago the Propaganda in Chief Barack Obama called for a new civility. This came after a deranged individual shot and killed a number of people in Tucson Arizona. The presidents remarks came after the left tried to blame conservatives and the Tea Party for the incident and failed. Obama’s spit wasn’t dry on his teleprompters before he went back into attack mode against the newly elected Republican officials of Wisconsin. Not since the election of Jimmy Carter has America been burdened with such an inept person as president. Obama is like a juvenile at Toy “R” Us who cleans out the store with no intention of paying for any of the items. Obama comes from the welfare / union class mentality that has been lead to believe they should be the privileged class. How many times has Obama berated the rich and famous only to make them his constant companions? Can anyone recall a time when a small business operator got within ear or eye shot of Obama?

The public is learning some interesting facts from all the turmoil going on between the unions and the various Governors. Not only about the strangle hold unions have on the education system but on other municipalities and state governments as well. What hasn’t been known until now are the restrictions on unions over federal workers contracts. When Jimmy Carter was president congress limited union negating powers to a few simple areas. These are the same rulings the states are asking for, if they’re good enough for the federal government why are they bad for the states? Could these federal rules be the reason Obama is parsing his comments pertaining to the various states disagreements with the unions?

When Obama was sworn an oath and promised to obey the constitution and the laws of the country he assumed because liberal Democrat were in charge the laws would be what they decided and as for the constitution it was something he’d never been acquainted with so why bother. Barack Obama totally misread the demographics of America, The left assumed because they were the most vocal they represented the majority of Americans. Screaming and violent rhetoric may win the attention of the media but it doesn’t win the hearts and minds of the people. The silent majority speak at the ballot box not at Starbucks on Wi Fi and the like. I doubt there’s a Facebook or Tweeter registered under the name “We the People”. We the people aren’t wasting their time they’re out there working to improve all of America not just the few.

For the past forty five years screaming liberals have captured and held the attention of the mainstream media, that is until the Internet Talk Radio and Fox News became alternative sources dispensing fair and balanced information. Liberals would much prefer carcinogens be freely dispensed to the public than having the truth about their agendas told.

After we’ve seen the placards and heard the comments of the teachers in Madison Wisconsin, teachers will never again be able to claim the high road of education. They appear to be what they’re being portrayed as, spoiled uneducated, unqualified riffraff that some how have been granted teaching certificates. For years billions of tax payer dollars and trillions of politically correct words have shrouded the teaching profession from any ridicule. Many teachers will say when they aren’t being monitored they aren’t allowed to teach the way they would like to. They say a liberal agenda is the only acceptable way to teach and stay employed. School curriculums no longer come from local school boards, [i.e.] communities they come from the Washington bureaucracy and the national teachers union.

This fight between the public and public sector union workers in America has nothing to do with the battles in the Middle East. It’s childish for those union thugs to even suggest it has. One fight is for freedom the other is for greed. The public has finally had enough of unions dictating how the work place should be managed. America is about to take back their local governments and kick the unions in the a** and send them the hell out of Dodge.

The hostility union protesters are showing the mainstream media isn’t reporting this is an abomination. Every state in America is planning ways to cut back on public sector wage benefits and yet not a single state with a democratic governor has been targeted by the mainstream media. New York and California are making some very drastic cuts, where’s the beef?

Tea Party is 100% American as it’s always been. Don’t let the fancy rhetoric and the posturing make your decisions for you. This is America where every thought is valid and every thought counts.

Could it be Muslim terrorists are beginning to scare Muslims? For years Muslims have been relocating in western societies away from the harsh restriction of strict Islamic laws. Immigrants have a tendency to bring much of their old culture with them when they relocate in a new country. This is often offensive to the native people of the new land, they welcome immigrants to come and be one of them but not to come and not try to assimilate into the new society. This is a bigger problem in European countries where people are more tribal than in America where the traditions are borrowed and redefined to fit there personal wants and needs. Americans have a way of turning the mundane into magic perhaps that’s why the first relocation choice of most Muslims is usually America.

Muslim Arabs all over the Middle East are turning against the autocratic rule they’ve been subject to for thousands of years. Thousands are fleeing across the Mediterranean to European countries for their safety. Within weeks many of those will be coming to America and Canada where their opportunities are limitless as compared to their homelands. When a person moves from nothing to something, something doesn’t have to consist of very much to make it seem like paradise. Most Arab immigrants don’t assimilate into their new surroundings because of fear, the fear of thousands of years of oppression by Kings and religious leaders. Old traditions are an opiate that’s hard to conquer, it isn’t so much that these new immigrants want to change their new surroundings it’s they’re afraid they can’t change to meet the necessary standards of their new countries.

Westerners have no concept of what it’s like to live as a commoner in any of the Middle Eastern countries with perhaps the exception of Israel. The common person ekes out a living as a tradesman of sorts or perhaps a tourist guide while the poor sift through the garbage of the major cities in the Middle East. The billions of dollars and euros raked in from the oil fields don’t get passed down to the masses, like cream on milk it remains on top. There’s one more thing about the so called Middle Eastern Democracies, they don’t trust their own people. Most of the oil rich Arab countries import their day labor from the poor Pacific Rim countries. As a political ideology Islam hasn’t moved very far forward in the past two thousand years. There was a time when the Middle East was the cradle of civilization, then nothing and it’s been nothing of any significance for thousands of years.

The secret to any society’s progress is unencumbered education. Today the internet is providing information previously limited by tyrannical governments from their people. Young Arab men and women are beginning to distinguish their poverty from their leader’s opulence. The newly educated class of young Arab men and women are beginning to realize it’s not Westerners who are stealing their birthright it’s their own ruling class. Westerners pay for what they take but it isn’t being passed around to the masses.

The Islamic Religion and the way it’s being perverted by some of the religious leaders in these various Arab countries and their Persian cousins have a great deal to do with the attitude of the Middle East population. It wasn’t that many centuries ago Christians were behaving in much the same way in that part of the world. Over the years Christians have learned to separate their hard crop religious beliefs from their everyday lives making them and society much more productive in more acceptable ways. Once the bond between Orthodox Islam and more moderate beliefs can be established young Arabs can begin to prosper as well.

The Infidels [non-Muslims] see Jesus as Gods perfect son and Muhammad as Gods evil son. These views are taken from the writings in the New Testament and the Qur’an as interpreted by the nonaffiliated historians of the day. Arabs, Persians and their Bedouin cousins had settled into harsh country all the way from Morocco to Pakistan. In order to survive it took more than their camels and finding the trade routes from one oasis to the next, it took faith in a higher power. Today the trade routes are paved and the camels have four wheels, some traditions are harder to break than others.

What if the turmoil in the Arab world had nothing to do with the infidels but instead is between traditionalists Muslims and the more moderate Muslims? What if the infidels stepped back and allowed the various Muslim sects to resolve their own differences. History tells us this has worked many times in the non-Muslim world. Combat has been as much a part of all religious ideologies as love has been, Christians have always been enamored with love and in days gone by would kill to promote it, why not allow Muslims the same privilege? Perhaps it’s time for Americans to stop plying big brother and let the rest of the world work out their own problems. Two centuries of hostility among our world neighbors should have told us we can’t buy friendship or respect these are qualities we must earn by the way we treat and interact with our neighbors.

The title of this article is “A Muslim World Turned Upside Down” perhaps it should have been titled “A Muslim World Turned Rightside Up.” Those young Arab men and women protesting across the Middle East are doing so for a reason and that reason isn’t to expand the Islamic Religion to become more oppressive than it is now. It’s a cry for more freedom and more opportunity for self expression. Young Arabs, Persians and Bedouins want the same I-Toys the rest of the world enjoys and they want them now. Education is something that can’t be suppressed for long, once the glimmer of hope rises above the horizon it’s impossible to put the Genie back in the bottle. These young Muslim men and women will have their way as all young men and women seeking freedom have in the past.

Freedom worth having is freedom worth fighting for and dying for if necessary, freedom is earned not given.

There are a number of tax generating proposals in the Obama secret handbook. These are not suppositions, these are actual proposals that have been leaked by the Obamanistas in the past two years. In 1933 President Roosevelt confiscated gold held by the public. There’s such a proposal tucked away deep in the new Obama health care law. The problem with this is when there’s only one owner of gold its value plummets and it becomes nearly worthless as it did in 1933. There would be nothing to keep a second term Obama from using the peoples gold as collateral to a foreign government for loans or as payment for previous debt. It would then be up to the buyer to determine the value of the gold further diminishing the value of the American dollar.

How many countries have said “It can’t happen here” and it’s happened? Every time a tyrannical leader takes charge of a government it’s with the support of the poor promising them a share in the nation’s wealth. The only sharing is the hard working citizens of those countries are brought down to the level of the poor. The only winners are the lying leaders who are able to hoodwink a nation. It can happen here and America is on the verge of having the tyrants take over. The public should be listening to the words of Representative Barney Frank and Senator Chuck Schumer if they doubt the severity of having the tyrants in charge.

How many times have we heard we can’t say that about these Americans officials? I can and I do say it; they’re tyrants along with many more in Congress and the bureaucracy.

One of the Obamanistas latest proposals is to have the government take over [confiscate] and administer all retirement programs. If social security isn’t good enough for elected officials and government workers how can it possibly be good to the poor working stiffs in this country? There’s an obsession within this liberal government to control every penny of the people’s money and make it theirs. To Liberals capitalism is an abomination.

My rhetoric may be harsh but the real harsh times are just around the corner if we aren’t diligent and don’t become active protecting this great country from domestic tyrants. Recent history tells us countries cave from within not from foreign invasions.

In the past two years public opinion has moved over the 50% mark of concern for the countries future. With each new demand of Obama’s for the government to borrow and spend more money the percentage points raise higher in favor of returning the country to a constitutional republic. Idiot Senator Chuck Schumer recently said the government is made up of three branches “The house, the senate and the presidency”. Was that a mistake on the senators part or was he trying to implant a false impression for those who admire him? As far as the liberal left is concerned dictionaries are a useless waste of man energy looking in them. Liberals make up the definitions to fit their positions at the time no matter how far off track they are.

As the world moves away from tyrannical style governments the Obamanistas move closer trying to create one for America. There’s something obscene about people who try to dictate lifestyles to others. That isn’t how America became the land so many people in the world want to live in. Despite Barack Obama’s distorted vision of America it’s still the most sought after place on earth to live. In Obama’s world the producers are punished and the slackers are rewarded, that’s the way he presents it. The facts are everyone is punished and only the elitists are rewarded. It’s called Karl Marx comes to America.

The left speaks in platitudes about democracy and at every opportunity they defy the very principles of democracy and that is each person has a right to voice a dissenting opinion. The placards carried by the protesting teaches in Madison Wisconsin are sophomoric to say the least. Many are vile to the point of illegal intimidation and the voters are ask to sympathize with these semi- illiterates educators? When the voters see what’s going on in Madison Wisconsin they’re surely going to demand a more responsible employment certifications in the future once the unions are no longer in charge of hiring policies.

Governors standing up to government employee unions isn’t about wages and benefits alone, it’s about who’s in charge. The public will no longer accept unions telling governors and legislators how to run their states especially now they are being made aware of how over compensated government workers are. Government workers have benefit’s the average person doesn’t even dream of having. We can thank Barack Obama for opening the public’s eyes making them aware of the abuses of power by the government and unions over the past half century.

There’s a constitution for a reason, a democratic style government alone wouldn’t have protected the people from unscrupulous politicians. What the framers gave us was a Constitutional Republic with all power in the hands of the people. The first seven articles of the constitution and the tenth amendment were written to protect the people from the abuses of government excesses. The first seven articles of the constitution are explicit in the powers the federal government has and how far each of the three branches executive, legislative and judicial could go to extend their authority over the rights of the people. The United States of America didn’t become a nation with the signing of the Treaty of Paris in 1783.

The treaty of Paris of 1783 ended hostilities between the thirteen colonies and Mother England. It took until 1789 for the Continental Congress to write, agree on and pass documents establishing a nation and electing a president to lead the country. It took several more years for the thirteen colonies to ratify the necessary document to bring about the United States of America. Creating autocratic governments is easy, creating a Constitutional Republic takes time and thought. Keeping a Constitutional Republic takes effort and the diligence of the people looking out for and removing those who would corrupt the system.

Today America is on the fringes of tittering into a pit of corruption. The voters have elected inept unqualified politicians whose only goal is self aggrandizement. The oath each of them swears to is nothing more than words written in ink on paper. Unless there’s a change in the majority of congress America becomes the next nation on a long list of failed nation.

The next opportunity to correct the ills infecting congress is coming in 2012, let us pray it won’t be wasted.

Wisconsin’s Teachers Union is trying to relate their plight to the poor people of the Middle East. That’s their first step into the hallowed halls of stupidity. The Egyptians had nothing to be taken from them they were protesting for something the Wisconsin teachers union is protesting to keep; something they weren’t entitled to have in the first place. Fifty States have civil service laws that protect government workers from excessive abuses in the work place. Those laws have been in effect longer than some of our states. Unions serve no productive purpose other than gouging more pay and more benefits from a public who don’t have a union to bargain for them, the very people who are elected to represent the public have become beholding to union bosses like little puppy dogs.

The so called well meaning teachers of Wisconsin who are standing up for their so called workers rights started out on the wrong foot by calling a Sick Out instead of making a positive statement by taking one or more of their vacation days to protest. That’s of course is an old fashion way unions use to game the system. Civil service laws protect government employees from the abuses of the system all the unions do for the teachers is get them more money more benefits and tenure in perpetuity for shoddier teaching practices, between union control and the PTA s influences teachers they have nothing they can do but capitulate or leave the system, those teachers who were once held in high regard are no more.

WORDS manipulated to have other meanings can be as infectious as any virus know to man. For years we were told teachers weren’t paid enough, now their pay is double that of the average person paying their salaries, the quality of education has dropped by 50% or more and still they aren’t being honest about what it is they demand. Now the excuse for the lack of quality education is being blamed on the students and the parents neither of which have a say in the way schools are managed. The Federal Nanny State and the politically correct mentality has taken any means of demanding compliance away from anyone in the system except by federal edict. WORDS turned inside out, upside down and backwards have given new meaning to what was once the basic three “R’s” of education. When the social amenities of the teachers unions means more than the product they are supposed to nurture, [educating youth] then they’ve failed in their purpose in life.

If the demonstrators we’ve seen in Madison Wisconsin are an example of those who are teaching our children then their qualifications are questionable to say the least, God have mercy on future generations.

For University students in Wisconsin to demonstrate against something when they have no clue of the issues is a long held tradition. If something sounds liberal the students go for it in a big way they never let the facts get in the way of the bigger picture. Never letting the facts get in the way of the bigger picture seems to be the mainstay of unionism. Now we know how the left who were making up the stories how Tea Party protesters were acting in such un-American way were able to come up with all the allegations, they came right out of the Union protesters hand book. The only thing left for the unions to bring out are the clubs and guns normally found in their mass assemblies.

Unionism survives on intimidation and thuggery, certainly not on the merits of their causes. Barack Obama says the new proposed Wisconsin legislation is an attack on unions. You dammed right it is and that’s as it should be, unions shouldn’t have the power to tell the state what it can and can’t do. Unions have more power over civil service workers across this country than the state legislatures have. Perhaps it’s time to revisit the Taft-Hartley act of 1947 that put limitations on what a union can do to organize and protest. And while we’re there reviewing the Taft-Hartley act lets take another look at the tenth amendment to the constitution that limit’s the federal governments powers to those explicitly set forth in the original seven articles of the constitution. Congress and presidents have used a single paragraph from article one section eight of the constitution commonly referred to as the commerce clause to upset everything the tenth amendment stands for. With few exceptions the founders warned of unscrupulous men in politics and commerce who would steal America’s birth right if the public weren’t diligent in protecting what they were given at great sacrifice.

If I may point out one classic example of political stupidity; Chuck Schumer, one of New York’s two senators, said in a recent speech America has three branches of government, “The House, The Senate and The President” . Had Senator Schumer been educated anywhere except by unionized teachers he would’ve know this was incorrect, the correct answer is the Legislative, the Executive and the Judiciary, all separate but equal. The question is was this a mistake on Senator Schumer’s part or was it an attempt to turn a word inside out to deceive an already confused public?

The only educational requirements for serving in elective office are those placed on the voters. Do voters have the ability to select the most qualified person for the job or do they rely on the propaganda of an election campaign? Not even the most astute of political pundits can explain why some persons are elected to office while their more qualified opponents are left in the dust. In 2008 a man with years of service to his country and a résumé as open as any one could expect to see was passed over for a person who the public knew nothing about, Barack Obama’s past is still a blank sheet of paper after two years in the Oval Office. Obama had no experience aside form being a short time state legislator in one of the most corrupt state governments in the country. America elected a rock star and got a hard worthless rock that’s dragging the country down into a sea of debt, disillusionment and distrust. It’s up to the voters to correct their previous mistakes and get the country back on track, thank God for the Tea Party Movement.

The wonderful thing about a true democracy is we the voters only have ourselves to blame when our government runs amuck. We the voters have the power to change it or let it continue as we see fit. We are the buffoons who elect the buffoons
