Biblically based ministers of the gospel have resented the fact that in the daily news cycle the issue of America’s moral decline has consistently been placed on the back burner and the economy was all that was ever discussed. Along comes Barack Obama who manages to put the so called ‘hot button’ issues back on the front burner and brings them up to a boil in record time. With a dismal record of his own, the distraction is at least getting him plenty of attention, which in politics, will do fine if you haven’t much else to go on.

Oddly, Mr. Obama may have overstepped the bounds of his own devices. He pulled out the very worst subject, at the very worst time, with his recent announcement that he is up for gay marriage. Don’t look now, but Obama’s best advisors have forgotten to tell him that the issue of marriage is not just a political issue; it has its roots in our biblical foundations, traditions, the laws of nature and the very moral underpinnings of the nation.

This is the pot we don’t want anyone to boil, much less to pull it to the front of the stove, to boil over, just for a political distraction to be used to bolster a sagging campaign.

Creating a circus like element to his campaign was augmented by the now famous cover of Newsweek magazine that depicts Obama with a rainbow colored halo over his head. Although the halo or the ‘nimbus’ is not something ever mentioned in the bible; it is part of the art world and has been used for many centuries. Christian art began the use of the halo around the fourth century AD.

What brings this particular circus attraction to the very border of blasphemy is the fact that while it is not biblical, it is commonly accepted that the halo represents the presence of the Holy Spirit in a person’s life.

God does not change his moral laws and he doesn’t care what LGBT social engineers are trying to mold into shape for the last day’s twists and turns in the social fabric of this, or any other nation. If marriage was declared to take place only between one man and one woman, it is a declaration that supersedes any from the past, present or future – it is a law from the realm of eternity. It is a law, accepted or not, that God declares we will all answer to at some time in our lives, be it now or later.

Even worse is the fact, that while all sins are forgivable – one is not. The sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is so abominable, that it cannot be forgiven. (Mt 12: 31) It is the easiest sin to identify because it is one of the most perverse. It is attributing evil to the Holy Spirit. Thus whether vying for civil rights, or any other cause, when we enact or even consider enacting laws that defy God’s laws and then say we were inspired by God to do so, that is clearly unforgivable blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.

When Barack Obama used the teaching of the ‘Golden Rule’ (Mt 7: 12-14) he did not need to claim he was personally inspired by the Holy Spirit because he extracted a proof text from scripture that is clearly inspired, and used it as his own. While no one is supposed to notice this, for those well-grounded in scriptural teachings, it is quite impossible to miss.

Be it blasphemy or just the influence of his teen aged daughters, as Obama has declared, the effect is still the same and the question is singular – do we change the very moral fiber of a nation based on either premise?

This makes for great campaign commotion, but it also creates a lot of contention and confusion. One example of that confusion was seen on the O’Reilly Factor May 15, 2012 when black ministers Delman Coates and Emmett Burns sat and argued that while they believe the bible called for marriage to be between only one man and one woman, they still were planning to vote for Barack Obama.

Setting aside the demand of the bible to never become a ‘respecter of persons,’ (Pr 28: 21) the bible has many examples of men and women who risked their lives to continue in God’s laws rather than to submit to a law of man that was clearly antithetical to God’s laws. The Apostle Peter openly declared that he would not ever suspend God’s laws for men, even if it meant his life. “Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, we ought to obey God rather than men.” (Acts 5: 29)

In the simplest terms possible, if we can be swayed by a man who is considering policy changes to the nation based on the pop culture influences of his teen daughters we most assuredly must pause for some serious thought. Or if we allow the foundations of our nation to be undermined by a man who is caught between vague allusions to the bible and childhood training in Muslim Madrassa schools; we probably will end up with – just what we deserve.

I may be able to influence doubters and perhaps convince a few not to take the path to their own demise. But to the believers I am forced to use a much stronger admonition. One of the very last things Christ said to the Apostle John as he sat imprisoned on the Isle of Patmos for his faith was an admonition he fully warned was for every man, woman and child on the planet earth. I will use these words as if they were my own.

“But that which ye have already, hold fast till I come.” (Revelation 2: 25)

The great test of 2012 will not be decided by the re-hashing and divisive use of something as meaningless as a ‘hot button issue.’ When Barack Obama declared that in crisis Americans “clung to their guns and their bibles,” he essentially failed to see that constitutional rights and the foundational principles the constitution was derived from are much more than something we ‘cling to,’ – but rather, they are what we ‘stand on.’

The nation and the world were catapulted into a revival of knowledge that even the Prophet Daniel proclaimed would not be well known or revealed until the last days. A few great works have been added to Lindsey’s book and those who had only Clarence Larkin’s 1918 version of “Dispensational Truth” were reinvigorated to begin again to start studying the subject of eschatology. Certain signs have been fulfilled in this generation that make it impossible to miss that the generation Jesus spoke of as the one sure to precede the second coming of Christ, is as the Bible says, “at hand.”

Of all the latest signs and the greatest teachings and discoveries about Christ’s imminent return in power that have graced this generation, none is more specific to America than the parallel Israel and America share in the passages of Isaiah 9: 10 and following.

Since online journalism often falls prey to the speed of surfing and the new lightning speed of digital browsers, I will state both early and emphatically; the Isaiah 9:10 prophecy/parallel is, without doubt, the most important and impressive discovery in this decade. It is a wakeup call that we can only ignore at our own peril.

It was apparent from the beginning that reviewing this documentary would not be easy and the standard review techniques would need to be suspended in lieu of some other means of elucidation. Joseph Farah is an articulate man who in this interview manages to touch on many of the questions anyone may think to ask, but to begin with we will use the four P’s to introduce the production.

PRIMARY – In both Old and New Testament days the Lord made it clear to his apostles and prophets and servants that if they went unheard and subsequently unheeded that it was God that was being rejected not the servant. Under inspiration of God’s Holy Spirit, God, his message and the messenger stand as one. That being said the primary here is Rabbi Jonathan Cahn.  Jonathan is what is known as a, Messianic Rabbi, (Christian) whose message is heard daily on hundreds of radio stations across the nation.

President of the ‘Hope of the World Ministries’ Cahn is also the Senior Pastor of the ‘Jerusalem Center/ Beth Israel located in Wayne, New Jersey. Cahn has ministered to thousands across the globe. He is the author of the bestselling book ‘The Harbinger’ which is subtitled “The Ancient Mystery that Holds the Secret of America’s Future”

In a normal review we would hail the long list of accomplishments and roles the principle has played to accent his career. In God’s economy he was only looking for someone to be obedient to what they saw or heard and in that vein Jonathan Cahn is best described.

What was spoken of about Cahn’s ancient Father Abraham may also be said about him. Little more needs to be said for those whose pleasure it is to serve the living God. PRODUCER – Joseph Farah is the producer of the documentary and he is a man who hardly needs an introduction. As the founder and CEO of WND.com (Formerly- World Net Daily) a website that has recently been ranked among the top 500 sites in the world, he is well known for his journalism and his untiring pursuit of the truth.

Like many Christians Farah knows that Jesus said “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (Jn 8: 32) When Farah decided that he would not hoard the truth to himself, but make it known to the entire world he became as Jonathan Cahn, a servant. Nothing speaks more about him than that. In the perspective of the Biblical worldview, that title, is the greatest he has ever been granted.

PREMISE – The documentary is used to show the parallel between ancient Israel and America. We are without doubt producing the same behaviors that Israel did before it began to fall under the judgment of God. Since both Israel and America were chosen to represent God’s works and his message in our world it might seem apropos that we should both choose a similar path, but since it is a path to our own demise, it is anything but desirable.

In the last 24 hours before Christ’s life leading up to and including his crucifixion he fulfilled some 25 major Messianic prophecies (Prophecies related to the first coming of Christ) against the odds of approximately 53,000,000 to one. The parallels between Israel’s behaviors and America’s reactions to the events of 9/11 have not yet been calculated in the math of compound probabilities, but if it were the odds would also be astronomical.

In the simplest terms – we are repeating the same behaviors as ancient Israel. The video fully explains these parallels, but much more than that, it indicates what we can do as individuals and as a nation to avoid the product of our behavior.

PRODUCT – All great portents are pretty much useless if all they do is entertain. The curiosity of the prophecies of Nostradamus, the sighting of UFOs, the pursuit of missing gospels and ‘doomsday’ predictions all have entertainment value, but they cannot be used to edify, guide or redeem anyone, thus they begin and end on the lower echelon of human influence we know as entertainment.

When signs or burning bushes are granted by God they have a much higher value. They are known as ‘revelation’ which means they are God’s way of speaking to man. He is the author and finisher of all things, but he does want to make it clear that we play a role in the outcome of all that happens in our lives as individuals and collectively as a nation. This then, is the very heart of this documentary. It is a view of the terrible event we call 9/11 that when seen correctly, will serve to awaken us to our role, subsequent to that event.

It is God’s way of saying – ‘Now, what are you going to do about it!’

Bresciani – This is Rev Michael Bresciani of the American Prophet.org website and I’m interviewing Mr. Joseph Farah, the Chief Executive Officer of World Net Daily on his production of the movie ‘Isaiah 9: 10 Judgment.’ Welcome.

Farah – Before you get started I just want to say that, World Net Daily is the name of the website that most people are familiar with, on January first we changed it to WND, and officially we don’t use World Net Daily anymore.

Bresciani – You know I should know that because I have a link to your site and a little logo on ours and it does say, simply, WND.

Farah – Old habits are hard to break.

Bresciani – The nine ‘harbingers’ are broken down into these categories, if I could say them quickly. 1. The Breach, 2.The Terrorist, 3.The Bricks, 4.The Tower, 5.The Gazit Stone, 6.The Sycamore, 7.The Erez Tree, 8.The Utterance, 9.The Prophecy The first question I have is – it was the Rabbi, Jonathan Cahn who seems the be the person best versed in these harbingers, was he the one that discovered these or did somebody else find them with him, was there a collaboration or did he just come upon them – how did he discover them?

Farah – It is my understanding, although I never specifically asked that question of Jonathan, is that these were things he discovered, and I think I would be accurate in saying that he was led to these discoveries, by the Holy Spirit. He is a great student of the Bible and he is a student of the Bible in original languages and he sees a lot of deeper meanings, much more than the average English speaking Bible student and I think that certainly helps, for instance, knowing the difference between when you read in the King James Version of the bible that the sycamores were replaced by cedars. Well, cedar is not actually the word in Hebrew, it’s erez tree, Erez is something, it includes the cedar, but it can be something, it’s more generic than cedar and so when you see the sycamore tree in New York City being replaced by an erez tree, then you see the fulfillment of what appears to be prophecy repeating itself. So I think Jonathan is uniquely gifted and studied to be able to have made these discoveries.

The movie itself is a different kind of telling of the book he wrote, The Harbinger, and the Harbinger is a terrific book, but it is actually classified as fiction because it involves fictional characters. It’s the telling of a real historical story. He does it in a way, a narrative form, that when I read it as a journalist, I said to myself, wait a minute, I’m afraid people are going to read this and think it’s a nice book, but not get the fact that – its real, that its true.

I felt compelled to make this into a video documentary where we could actually show these events that took place because – seeing- is believing - for people. We increasingly live in a world where the visual is much more powerful for some people than the written word. So that was the genesis of the Isaiah 9: 10 Judgment. I knew the ‘Harbinger’ was going to be an incredibly successful book, which it has been and continues to be the number one Christian book in America this year.

Bresciani – That leads me into the second question I was going to ask you. How is it (The Harbinger) doing in the marketplace? I understand its rising again?

Farah – Yes, it’s been consistently on the New York Times best seller list and it’s really just a question of whether it’s in the top ten or the top twenty five and that sort of depends on the exposure he (Jonathan Cahn) he is able to give it in media.

Bresciani – I had the feeling as I watched the documentary that it wasn’t trying to be a ‘prophecy,’ it was being shown as a parallel, that we (America) are repeating a pattern, and no one could argue with that.

Farah – Well no, and if your familiar with the bible, you know that the bible is a book of patterns. And so it only makes sense that those patterns would continue into the future and to me this story, whether you read it in book form or watch the video, I have yet to see anybody come away with, well that’s all coincidence.

Bresciani – Another question that came up is, I wondered if anyone involved like Sen. Daschle, Jon Edwards, Mayor Bloomberg, and the Governor of New York or anyone that’s part of the documentary has been exposed to the video and have they made any statements or thrown back any reflections?

Farah – No, not to my knowledge, however, I will say this because this is the journalist in me, I have asked my team, my staff, to make every effort to try to reach out, particularly to Daschle and Edwards. I want to find out from Tom Daschle, who gave the first speech on September 12 and cited Isaiah 9: 10. I wanted to get somebody to talk to him or the aide or the speech writer that came up with that verse as the inspiration for his talk that day.

As a person with both a prophetic calling on my life and as a journalist I feel that our nation is sliding fast toward the place of no return, anything that serves to alert the nation to this misguided race to our own demise rates high on my list as important enough to declare and make known to other Americans.

I like to rate every film or production I review on a scale of 1 to 10. In all three categories, message, production and prophetic value I would be remiss if I did not give Joseph Farah’s production of ‘Isaiah 9: 10 Judgment,’ a very strong – ten.

No one can argue with the polls that show that a majority of people between ages 18-29 would side with gay marriage, even as most between ages 29-60 would reject gay marriage completely. Mr. Obama is busy trying to persuade the youth who have all the PC gab and Steve Jobs gadgets to gather in his camp. Most of those in the other age group are jumping ship before it hits the iceberg at full speed. The result of this awakening in the political realm; will be made known on November 6, 2012.

It goes without saying that since there is little chance or enough time between now and November 6, to enact a gay marriage bill or executive order that Mr. Obama has managed to buy the gay community’s vote for the mere price of a well timed statement.

In the realm of prophecy this is not surprising because a generation is predicted to come before the rise of all ‘last days’ portents that will be all but void of conscience, traditional morality and completely in rebellion against God’s revealed word.

All the business of polls, trends and evolving viewpoints take nothing away from the prophetic message or the moral teachings of the Bible. In fact, they only accent and punctuate the promises that solidly declare that in the days of that generation the world will change beyond recognition, but it will not end well.

The spirit of anti-Christ precedes the coming of the man who the Bible refers to as the Anti-Christ. All this requires that a generation of militant non-believers be present to welcome in the man and willfully and exuberantly give him the rule over the entire world.

Under this man ignoring God’s laws will become normal, but that will quickly capitulate to active open resistance against any that refuse to bend under the rule of anti-Christ. The troublesome non-compliant believers will eventually be put to death.

“And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.” (Rev 13: 7)

Even as the prophesied generation is forming; they will be denying that anything like that could ever happen – Witness today!

Like young people drawn to the noise of the party, an unsuspecting world will hear what their lack of morality falls into sync with, and will be drawn up like the sucking of a mammoth tornado.

I have warned for over half my lifetime that the generation spoken of in writ, has been forming and with the President’s proclamation, there is little chance for error.

With Europe chomping at the bit for one strong ruler and America falling prey to the liberal Godless mindset in its choices for leaders, the stage is set. Time is short.

For us, what time is left will be expedited if a national law supporting Obama’s recently evolved position is added to a generation long slaughter of 54,000,000 (54 million) unborn children. Our peace will be shattered by many interventions of God commonly referred to as judgments.

No nation in history has escaped God’s interventional rebukes and we will be no exception. Ancient Israel, Babylon, Greece and Rome all saw the same fate and yet our perversity makes them all look tame by comparison. They may have favored fleshy indulgence, but America has long since been flaunting it.

Almost everyday someone asks me to predict how much time is left. Others ask me if I think certain leaders are the false prophet or the anti-Christ. I tell them all the same; when these people are revealed the whole world will see it together.

Only the believers will understand who they are, because they will come up through normal channels of education, political persuasion and socially acceptable backgrounds. They will not look like devils released from the pit, although that’s where they will finally end up. Spiritual people will see, carnal people will move headlong down the path toward their own destruction.

There will be wars, rumors of war and social upheaval all around the world and changes and difficulties will arise faster than anyone can make adjustments. Out of the turmoil will come those who will promise better times, prosperity and peace for the whole world! But no peace will come.

This time known as the ‘tribulation period’ is short lived (seven years) and it culminates with the return of the Lord Jesus Christ in power. He removes the rule of man from the earth and establishes his kingdom on earth.

There is no doubt that the remarks of President Obama are part and parcel to the coming world confusion. It is impossible to take a stand so diametrically opposed to the Bible, lay it on an entire nation, as a leader, and somehow be free of culpability and complicity with the thinking that brings judgment upon the entire earth.

I have been given no dates and since Christ said no man knows the day or the hour, I wouldn’t accept any. But Christ warned that we should all learn the lesson of the fig tree. (Mt 24: 32) He said when the branches and buds start to come forth the last generation was at hand. At this point we have long since passed the time of buds; look closely you will see the figs!

Biden ignored the 4,000 year old solid scriptural teaching to offer his all new definition of marriage to NBC’s Meet the Press, Sunday May 6, 2012 at Mellon Auditorium in Washington.

Biden told his audience that – “marriage should be about being loyal to someone you love, whether that marriage is between a man and a woman, two men or two women.”

With such a high official of the U. S. government chiming in with both his good attitude and an entirely new definition of marriage, we are caught between Biden and Jesus and must now decide who we are more disappointed with.

Should we feel bad that Jesus said “Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh,” (Mt 19: 4, 5) that he may have forgotten to tell us that if Albert and Andrew should wanted to leave home and tie the knot that they too would become one flesh?

Or should we feel bad that Joe Biden has singlehandedly devised a way to infringe on the first amendment separation of powers, thousands of years of tradition, hundreds of scriptural teachings and references and the will of the people in 32 states to make a pop culture pleasing, pompous and completely perverse statement – with supplemental definitions attached?

Obama, it is said, is presently holding off on making any statements about the ‘wedge’ or ‘hot button’ issue, but it has been reported that his view of same sex marriage is “evolving.” We needn’t try to guess that in an election year his aspirations for power are surely tempering his pronouncement on the issue.

What of these leaders that are not content to lead the country into prosperity, safety and exceptionalism, but are found tinkering with the social fiber, the moral underpinnings and the very religious and scriptural teachings of the Living God. Why is this happening now?

The great “apostasy” (falling away) predicted by the Bible for the last days is not just about the churches or the believers. It has to do with every major aspect of life on the planet earth. Government, social order (or the lack of it) traditional matters of culture, education and general society will all be profoundly altered as we enter into the period the scriptures call the “Last Days”

The church is busy debating whether to open up to the gay agenda, fighting over when the rapture will take place and preaching the watered down gospel of prosperity and happiness for all, while the antichrist spirit, as predicted, is raging throughout the nations of the earth.

The foundations are shaken; the disobedience soon turns to rebellion and active anti-Christian behavior. The only way to describe it is with the word – defiance. Sadly, according to the scripture the only thing to follow defiance in God’s economy is – judgment. That chapter in the eschatological narrative of events to unfold in the very near future; is about to begin.

The scripture doesn’t say that leaders will be struggling against the tide in an effort to reel the nations back from their rapidly increasing fall into perdition, but leaders will, as fathers, mentors, or in some cases, as worshipped spokesmen of the brave new world, pave the way for the demise of those who so foolishly chose to believe them.

In a recent interview with Joseph Farah of WND (formerly World Net Daily) it became clear that the message of the documentary ‘Isaiah 9: 10 Judgment’ taken from the bestselling book ‘The Harbinger’ was not just a parallel between ancient Israel’s behavior and America. Israel’s psychological and societal positioning with God is exactly the same as ours, which is in a word – ‘defiant.’

In the very same passages as Isaiah 9: 10 is found another warning. It’s about those that lead us, or as it were, those that mislead us. Should we be proud of Joe Biden for his new definition for marriage if it is presumptuous and misleading? Should we applaud his effort to lift the thinking of the poor religious and dulled minds of those who live by God’s word, principles and a morality that even the human spirit cannot shuck off without a fierce personal battle of conscience?

We do not thank Joe Biden for his statement, his definition of marriage or his leadership. What we are thankful for, is two powerful verses that warn us that top world leaders can be seriously wrong.

The Prophet Isaiah says, “For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.” (Isa 9: 16)

The Lord Jesus Christ says, “For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall show signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.” Mk 13: 22)

Be it the VP, or a false prophet, our response is no different; we don’t care what you are comfortable with, if it is in direct opposition to the revealed word of the Living God.

Apparently he sees himself as the guardian angel of those whose feelings may have been hurt or who are depressed because of the difficulties involved with the transition out of the world of the straights.

While most people discover who they are as they mature and find their place in society, the gays need special help to get into their little sphere and they also need special laws and alerts for the use of non-politically correct catch words and phrases that signal that they are being bullied.

It is sensitivity training, courses in tippy toeing, self-esteem tripe and psychological bolstering all rolled into one. But apparently Savage can’t seem to fulfill his task without belittling others whose view of the gay life is not so glowing. He referred to Christians as pansy a**** as more than a hundred students along with their advisors left the conference in protest.

He issued a halfhearted apology sometime later and then proceeded to his next venue where the rhetoric was repeated in all of its sorted glory. He proved to the world yet once again that those who espouse tolerance have a very high tolerance for their own brand of brow beating, bullying and blatant hypocrisy.

While not actually quoting chapter and verse of the bible he did mention the three most well-known books of the bible that decry the homosexual lifestyle, Leviticus, Timothy and Romans.

He boasted that we have learned to ignore the bull**** in the bible and we should also learn to ignore the bible’s other prohibitions on shellfish, slavery, dinner, farming, virginity and masturbation. The shotgun approach to blasting the bible never works because the scoffers rarely if ever understand the dispensations or the divisions of the scripture. Naturally speakers like Savage depend on the fact that their listeners don’t know these subtle, but extremely important differences.

In a post on May 1st Savage specifically blasted the practice of Christians who quote from Leviticus because it says homosexual activity is an ‘abomination.’ Declaring that the bible refers to all Old Testament moral, ceremonial or hygienic prohibitions as also being abominations is a very significant error.

Dr. Michael Brown of the much loved “Ask Dr. Brown” series addresses that error in his ‘Voice of Revolution’ website, May 3, 2012. Dr. Brown says, “Actually, within Leviticus, only homosexual practice is singled out as an abomination, but elsewhere, the people of Israel are told that they should not eat shellfish (see Leviticus 11, although the word abomination is not used there)…”

Brown also said, “When it comes to homosexual practice, not only is it the only sinful action singled out in Leviticus as an abomination, but it is part of a list of universal moral prohibitions, including incest and other forbidden sexual acts. We know this because the chapter states that the Lord judged the pagan nations for these very acts, and if acts were wrong for idol-worshiping pagans, and they were wrong for the people of Israel (see Leviticus 18:24-30). And when we see that the prohibition against homosexual practice is reiterated in the New Testament, the case is settled for those who accept the Bible as God’s Word.”

As expected the mainstream media mostly passed over the details of this incident, but the conservative media has been generous, providing both details and follow ups. The one aspect of the event that seemed to have escaped the notice of all, was the fact that while hundreds of students walked out of the conference, many more stayed – and applauded Savage’s unlearned, ill-informed and anti-Christian remarks.

Why were students cheering and applauding Dan Savage’s outbursts of hatred and error even while they were present to learn more about how to be more tolerant? This is a question that virtually no commentator has asked. This is also the question that is too easy to answer.

Our children are being taught a world view that denies absolutes. Situation ethics, personally derived morality and the view that all truth is subjective and relative, is at the heart of today’s academic system. High school and college level instruction holds that there are no more absolutes; there isn’t just black and white, but many shades of gray.

Philosophic postulation is only allowed to ask questions, no one is allowed an authoritarian platform on which to declare an actual answer. If philosophy were actually color; where would this thinking end? Ask the artist to believe that there is only gray and they will laugh at you. They depend on the absolutes of black and white in their art. All the colors are derived from primaries; there are no shades of purple without red and blue.

But why trouble the darlings with something that would only get them scorned or called a pansy. Even as teachers hail the individualism that produced today’s youth heroes and examples like Steve Jobs, any defiance against the rap of the nebulous nascent nonsense is met with wrath and rejection. Again this is no more than unseen and totally un-acknowledged hypocrisy.

The only remaining barrier to the emergence of today’s reprobation and moral decline is the bible. It is fast becoming the last line of defense, but a formidable defense it is. Bolstered by the Prez’s unprecedented stand with the homosexual agenda the gays have only this one immovable wall to hurdle. Will they succeed? Not a chance.

Oddly, it is not some imaginary battle where good wins over evil but the prophetic says that evil under the banner of PC – (Political Correctness) and morality derived from – PCC (Pop Culture Consensus) will flourish as this generation progresses.

Not only does the bible promise that even though evil will have its day, prophetically speaking that evil will suddenly be met face to face by the returning Lord Jesus Christ who will at his appearance dispel all the questions. When those with a world view look up to see him coming in power they will not call upon their college professors, scientists, politicians or peers to help them to cope with the events that follow.

What they will do, is flee to the mountains, rocks and dens and ask the rocks to hide them from the face of him who returns in resplendent glory and power. (Rev 6: 16)

It is more than a curiosity that as an appendage to one of the most important second coming passages in the entire bible called the ‘Olivet Discourse,’ Jesus re-affirmed that of all the words a man may take to heart, only his words will be left standing in the end, and those who stand on these words will be standing there with him alive and well at his second coming.

“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” (Mt 24: 35)

As for those kids in Seattle who walked out of the school I can say I wouldn’t mind having any number of them attending my church. I would venture to say their parents must be proud. Not only are they the jewels of heaven but they are the best of America and I would bet there are a few million Americans who would agree with me.

In a short piece by Daniel Halper the headline was “Michelle Obama: ‘This President Has Brought Us Out of the Dark and Into the Light’ If it were not a direct quote taken from Michelle Obama’s rally speech at a campaign event in Nashville, Tennessee earlier the same day, we could only imagine that some virulent anti-Obama politico went too far and just made up a false and despiteful headline to hurt the Obama campaign. But the headline is quite true.

Here is what is apparent. The Weekly Standard is no religious website and Daniel Harper is no dialectical theological giant like Karl Barth or a great expositor of the scriptures like Charles Haddon Spurgeon, but it is also apparent that he wasn’t trying to be.

No one needs to be a theological giant to see that Michelle has overstepped the bounds of both common political discourse and sound theology. Jesus Christ alone is the light of the world (Mt 4: 16) and the power to dispel darkness is his alone to wield.

The theology of the Bible makes two things very clear. One is that angels are superior in every way to man, the other is that no angel in Old or New Testament ever allowed themselves to be worshipped. Most of them claimed to be messengers or servants of the Lord and abruptly halted any attempt to worship them. No Christian who has seen these examples would suspend the lessons taught by these examples and then worship a man, even if he is a sitting U.S. President.

In the one instance where a crowd was allowed to worship an orator after he delivered a speech, that orator (Herod) was stricken by an angel of the Lord and fell down dead. (Acts 12: 19 – 24) This event was also attested to by Josephus, the most widely known historian of the New Testament period.

Being on the subject of theology is why we must also compare the Obama policy, position and product on such matters as the gay agenda, abortion and recent offences against both Catholic and Protestant churches with the extravagant outbursts of his wife.

Abortion, the gay life and interference with the churches doctrine and polity are all one hundred percent diametrically opposed to biblical doctrine. How do we get light from this?

In fact, if anything, when Obama policy is compared to scripture the one conclusion that is impossible to miss is that he is spreading the darkness and subduing the light.

Perhaps someone should inform Michelle that in today’s climate of economic hardships and uncertainty most Americans are waiting on Obama to dispel the debt not the darkness. It is also apparent to Americans, that at the moment, he has not managed to dispel either one.

We may expect the wives of our statesmen and politicians to be supportive and exuberant about the work of their husbands, but we still take exception with any attempt to raise them to the level of Deity.

King James says “O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? How long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing?” (Ps 4: 2) The hurried generation doesn’t employ, nor is familiar with terms like ‘leasing.’ Visions of new car leases or Fifth Avenue apartments that rent for five million dollars or more, per year, are not the subject spoken to in the King’s most regal version of writ.

Let’s use a simpler version, broken down for the hurried minds and the erudite of the day. Here is a chance for those fully endowed with acquired knowledge, but who remain unable to engage the ancient, revered yet fully preserved mechanism by which to use knowledge correctly; commonly referred to as wisdom.

The easier version, quoted from the Message Bible removes the clouds thus rendering it accessible even to the minds of children. “You rabble—how long do I put up with your scorn?
How long will you lust after lies? How long will you live crazed by illusion?” (Opere citato)

The ‘everything came from nothing’ crowd, (Big bang,) insists that God could not have actually spoken these words. That’s OK, because the same crowd is still wrestling with the question of whether the tree falling in the forest makes any noise in the absence of anyone being present to hear it. Passing by their own fully accepted, empirically derived, definition of sound, we should not be surprised that they haven’t arrived at a fully supportable definition for the beginning of the universe.

To review: whether a falling tree in the forest makes a big bang cannot be answered – but a big bang in outer space can make a universe. No witnesses for either event but an entire society that believes one big bang equals one big universe. This raises the specter of two more great questions. First, if a mind asks a question when no one is there to witness it, does it create a great intellect? Second, do you actually want to leave the explanation of the universe in the hands of people who think like this?

As they wrestle with the question of trees in the forest, we at least already know, that not one human being was present to hear the big bang, subsequently, explanations for the origin of the universe are still, knocking, flailing and floundering at wisdoms door.

If wisdom arose, he would no doubt rebuke those who pounded on his door. He would ask the question of why he should have to speak to them a second and third time on the subject he has addressed so often and so concisely. Why should he have to repeat it again to the dull of hearing when there are those who haven’t heard it for the first time? Have you heard it yet?

“Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath showed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.” (Ro 1: 19-22)

After such a scathing rebuke, would they not only cease to seek father wisdom, but they may be inclined to warn others that he doesn’t have a clue. If that didn’t work, they might cut off his lines of communication, or as we say here in century twenty one – pull the plug.

The unplugged version of society is busy running around pulling the plugs of scripture, constitution and academic curiosity in so many ways that it would require a full non-fictional omnibus to cover its brief (about one generation) but frenzied history.

Prayer yanked out of schools, placards removed from courtrooms, words forbidden in classrooms, political correctness choking the media and a fear, fully formed and carefully outlined by PC engineers, then cast upon an entire generation that would bring pride to the likes of Hitler, Mao and Mussolini.

This generation has figuratively re-written the most well-known prayer in the world. Unspoken but, clearly heard, it is the very supplication and petition of the unregenerate.

Our Father which art in heaven, please erase your name from our classrooms, courtrooms, places of public discourse and most everywhere else – if you please. And by all means don’t let your kingdom come, especially not now, because we are very busy in our all new enlightened world. And lest we forget, please dump that daily bread thing, we want more millionaires so we can tax them and use the dough to support the entitled and less fortunate. Would you mind easing back on that temptation thing because political hooligans, pop-culture heroes, Hollywood’s hacks, Playboy’s Heff and the internet’s Huff have assured us that; ‘lust is for life’ and we really can’t seem to get enough of that good stuff these days. And by the way would you stop emphasizing that sin thing. We have pretty much dealt with that and now, we allow most everything, except murder and child abuse – but at times we’re not too sure about that either, as our ground breaking new HBO series, “Angry Boys” should fully indicate to you. Finally God, about that kingdom, power and glory thing; we already have a narcissist in chief (Barack Obama) so lighten up a bit for now.

If, as we like to say, ‘one lie only leads to another’ what shape is the last day’s generation in, since they choose to accept the ultimate and biggest lie of all the previous generations, namely, that we are no longer or, perhaps, were never accountable to God at all? Are we already running headlong into the scripture that declares “And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie?” (2Th 2: 11)

It is clearly safe to say that the day has arrived when lies, not love is what makes our world go round here in America. We have as the best example, the re-election bid of Barack Obama. Here is a man with stacks of 2008 campaign promises fully undelivered and rotting on their pallets down at the White House docks. With almost four years to make good on any promise, policy or proposal, he can now only say the exact opposite to the campaign crowds he addresses today and hope they won’t notice that he is quite full of the proverbial baloney sausage.

Gas prices climbing to the moon do not supplant the all but deleted space program, but it is clear that prices at the pump will reach the moon long before we make our second attempt to get there. Obamacare is under the scrutiny of the Supremes and it doesn’t have a good prognosis in that august body. Social tinkering to promote the gay agenda has become a runaway train belching out whistle, smoke and terror as it approaches our children’s security and their very childhood innocence, at breakneck speed.

Joblessness, bank failures, failed bailouts and green policy that is stifling energy production, bring up the rear, but the campaign rhetoric goes on, replete with hedging, prevarications, evasiveness, equivocation and fibbing. That’s an awful lot of words to use for civilities sake; when we all know that the real word to use is simply – lies.

Besides lies, there are the old trustworthy political devices like, blame gimmicks and the old stand-by – unmitigated gall.

We thought there was nothing left to blame George Bush for, until now. Then we saw the start of the gimmicks, like ‘the Buffett Rule’ and the ‘War against women, working moms, the church, the unborn, marriage, the rich and America itself. The only thing left is the gall with which Barack Obama expects us to believe that re-electing him would be anything other than the beginning of a national disaster.

Let’s get plugged back in to some higher wisdom America and bring this great streamlined locomotive into the station in one piece, with some dignity and some national pride to go along with it!

I can think of plenty of names like Washington, Lincoln, Reagan and others whose words would serve to remind us of the wisdom and nobility that was once used to form this nation. But I would rather remind my readers of the real words of the Lord’s Prayer which may serve to direct our attention to the one whose words are far more than quotable – they are the words of life.

“Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.” (Matthew 6: 9)

The jokes that followed offered further humiliation for Santorum, but Romney wasn’t excluded from the mockery. Leno said that Santorum proved he hated women by his position on contraceptives which got laughs, but even more laughter rang out when Leno added that Santorum proved he hated men, when he came against porn.

Next, Leno named certain Hollywood liberals who were now turning against Barack Obama, but the big wave of laughter came on the punch line that declared, yet, one more liberal that has decided to come against Obama – Mitt Romney.

The battle for the hearts of Americans and one of its finest champions in decades, Rick Santorum, obviously did not end with laughter. Those familiar words of Christ saying “we have mourned to you, and ye have not wept.” (Lk 7: 32) were not in vogue with the perpetual party set of the late night shows or pretty much anywhere in America. But why?

The battle of big bucks has taken precedence over the battle for hearts and minds. If as we were taught in early childhood, the blue of the flag stands for courage and loyalty, the red stands for the blood shed to keep us free and the white stands for the purity that exemplifies our purpose and our citizenry. This may be the day to finally change the colors. The white could become black for the darkest penchant for filth, porn and self-indulgence that history might imagine for any nation. Perhaps it would be more appropriate to change the white to green, but not for environmentalists, but bucks.

Barack Obama has loaded trillions in debt on the backs of Americans; he follows with a promise to raise a billion to get re-elected. Santorum rode in borrowed pickup trucks to campaign while promising to bring the dignity of decency back to the nation. That was followed by millions of dollars spent to smother his message by the Romney campaign. What follows this battle of the big bucks is a promise of more bucks, recovery and riches for a nation that is all but laughing Santorum out of town.

Should you have come to this article as one of my millions of returning readers, or if you have arrived here quite by circumstance, should you be waiting for a deep, detailed prognostication of the outcome of these recent events, here it is. America is headed for the worst time of ‘poverty and scarcity’ it has ever known. The battle of bucks will not end with more for everyone, but the greatest gain our future holds is in the numbers of broken hearts.

I was given this message during the Reagan boom times and it is now being fully asserted during the time when a single candidate is promising those times will be fully restored and surpassed. My message is simple and requires only two words, not so.

It has always caused me to cringe when commentators, politicians or leaders glibly use the term “super power” to describe America in their conversation. It is too close to a biblical term used to describe the future power that accomplishes bringing the entire world together under one roof by means of economic wrangling. This last day’s kingdom thinks it cannot be touched by any hazard or threat, but its pride is not just brought down by a fall, but it is; completely annihilated.

“How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her. And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,” (Rev 18: 7-9)

Should that nation or world power be us or should it be that we are just part of it makes little difference. It is the course we are now set on that demands our deepest scrutiny. I will not insult Gov. Romney by saying he is the best of two evils, but I am forced to admit that this changeable man may be the best we have got for the moment and is a far sight better than the alternative.

The most frightening aspect of this election is that in the last election over sixty million Americans seem to have been stricken with temporary blindness and allowed one candidate to promise them the moon. They have since woken up to the reality that the only thing that made it to the moon is American sovereignty, solvency and common decency.

It may well be naïve to assume that one man can cause the nation to stand up as a moral force in the world once again. But experience being the natural corrective to naiveté, it is now easy to see that it has taken only one man to bring the nation to its knees. This is not a lesson too late for the learning.

“He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows, and saying, we have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned unto you, and ye have not lamented.” (Mt 11: 15-17)

It could just be stupid, as in; you can lead a horse to water – but you can’t make him gather moss. Or it could be that the perverse version holds a whole new meaning for an increasingly perverse generation. Eclecticism and perversion have co-mingled and now are part of that blurred, shady area between the common wisdom of the day and true wisdom’s truths to live by.

Trends in society need to be read, qualified and if anyone is still awake, some need to be discarded as quickly as possible. The problem with that idea is simply that we are a generation that accepts perversion as entertainment, distraction and perhaps even attractiveness. It is the reason we sponsor vast teams of producers who scour the nations to find talent in our young (song and dance talent) while we are not looking anywhere, to see if they’ve got character.

The product of this petted penchant crosses all the lines, but nowhere does it show up more dressed and ready to entertain than in politics. We are racing to the place of no return in our choice for a republican nominee for president after going through frontrunners and wannabes like burning battered tires in the Indy 500.

We have, as it were, decided that the slick talking successful businessman who looks like the perfect host for the Price is Right, will pull us out of the Obama quagmire and escort us back to worldwide pre-eminence and economic good times.

Not only does he look good, but he is not bothering us with all those pesky ‘hot button’ issues like abortion, same sex marriage and the gay agenda. We are not at risk of having our conscience pricked by this ‘electable,’ but we can look forward to more jobs and security with complete impunity for our part in any of the aforementioned.

Is it safe to say, that we have wisely decided that we will not jump out of the frying pan and into the fire, but have decided to play it safe by jumping from one side of the frying pan to the other?

Can we now borrow from the adage (which after all may be totally wrong) that says we should, ‘feed a cold, but starve a fever’ to explain the lack of depth in our choice for the nominee. The adage could be ‘feed the wallet, but starve the conscience’ (which after all may be totally correct.)

Those called to press the conscience of a nation may use adage, quips, quotes and maxims for emphasis or elucidation, but they will never be offered as a substitute for the highest wisdom of the generations. Having written over 500 jeremiads and calls to the higher conscience of the nation; this writer will not now, or ever, choose the perversions of the day to estimate the product of tomorrow.

Holding respect for the best offered by Ron Paul and the wide experience of Newt Gingrich is an act of civility. It is not to be compared with the recently put forth notion that America is being offered the GOP version of JFK in Rick Santorum. Are we letting this boat sail for another four years because we have heard that Mitt’s liner is unsinkable? After shunning the misused, over rated and now clearly false slogan known as ‘change we can believe in;’ are we now falling victim to a single word, namely, ‘electability.’

Who started that word to rolling, and since when, did anything, but the will of, ‘we the people’ decide who is electable? Will the 2008 election that was anchored by a slogan be trumped by the tag word of the 2012 election? Forget silence; now is the time for us to all bow our heads for a moment of honesty.

If our pundits have dared to tell us how to think, then should we be surprised that our prophets are declaring that we are not thinking at all?

The principles that Romney stands on as seen in his record may indeed be able to get Obama off our backs but only the principles espoused by Santorum will be able to get God off our backs. Our time of reckoning is near; you do the math.

Leaving off yet more diatribe and warning about Mitt Romney’s flip flops, Romneycare, support of the gay agenda, same sex marriage and his stated refusal to do anything about the repeal of DADT we can move on to the part that will not go away, but makes a mockery of the word – electability.

The weakest aspect of democracy is its inability to admit that sometimes the people collectively make a bad decision. This is why one of the direct commandments of God says that we are not to follow a crowd to wrest judgment. (Ex 23: 2)

Anyone can level charges against a candidate, but it all becomes much clearer when we direct our attention away from a candidates past record to what we can actually expect them to do in the future.

As we approach the fortieth anniversary of the life wasting decision of Roe v. Wade we can with relative certainty expect Romney to do nothing at all to overturn that decision. It is also certain that as we approach the 40 year mark we are dangerously close to that reaction from the Author of life referred to as judgment.

Pregnant moms can swallow handfuls of change, but not one penny will make its way to the uterus and all the ranting about women’s health will not make the unborn child forming inside them any less innocent. A child in the uterus is the very definition of poor and dependent. This is why the warning given by the Prophet Jeremiah is more important today in this nation than it ever was. Consider.

“On your clothes is found the lifeblood of the innocent poor, though you did not catch them breaking in. Yet in spite of all this you say, ‘I am innocent; he is not angry with me.’ But I will pass judgment on you because you say, I have not sinned.” (Je 2: 34-35 NIV)

This may be the acceptable day to pound away at the so called ‘separation of church and state,’ but let’s come down out of the clouds just a little and remember that these warnings did not come from Greek mythology, Aesop’s Fables or the Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner. These words come from the mouth of the Living God and we will be held accountable.

As the day approaches and the 54 million aborted children come to God’s remembrance I submit that it will take more than a handful of gold coins and lower jobless numbers to recover any real security in the nation.

If God can withhold everything that is needed for survival right down to the staff of bread what fool would insist that he does not have the ebb and flow of our markets, banks and securities directly under his watchful eye? We may think that the ‘electable’ can fix this slide but this is the bottom line – no one will fix anything without God’s green light.

Here are two final messages. One from the word I received almost 40 years ago and another from the pages of writ. The first is simple. God showed me in no uncertain terms that before the days of my life come to an end America will undergo times of extreme ‘poverty and scarcity.’ It will not matter who we elect in 2012, it is a foregone.

The second is a warning given to Israel and used here to show that God controls everything from the feeding of the lone sparrow to the rise and fall of nations.

“So it shall be a reproach and a taunt, an instruction and an astonishment unto the nations that are round about thee, when I shall execute judgments in thee in anger and in fury and in furious rebukes. I the LORD have spoken it. When I shall send upon them the evil arrows of famine, which shall be for their destruction, and which I will send to destroy you: and I will increase the famine upon you, and will break your staff of bread.” (Eze 5: 15-16)

It brings me no pleasure or particular delight to say these kinds of things but it would be even worse if I do not –for both the nation and myself.

Three years later these little mice are all neatly separated into classes where confusion and disappointment are second only to the state of unbelief that follows a change that actually – no one can honestly believe in.

Heading toward the 2012 race the slogans of 08 seem to have met up with the new kid on the political scene – the acronym, now well known as – ABO. Even as candidates begin to drop off and out of the GOP effort the remaining candidates have little fear that some write in, or a shift toward the incumbent could upset their chances.

The ABO (Anyone but Obama) acronym may have surpassed the slogans of 2008 in potency, purpose and palatability – the electorate is fairly fed up with the flutist who now occupies the White House and they want a return to the days of the full symphony with a true American maestro at the podium.

The urgency to switch from the promised ‘change’ back to something more recognizable is like the story of the Pied Piper who later was not satisfied to lead the mousey mesmerized minions to the edge of town, but he came back for the children.

There is little doubt that it is the little ones who are taking the worst beating from the Obama Administration. The promise of a united people has obviously proved to be the greatest period of division and discontent in our history. The mice so easily entertained by music and slogans have been transformed into dogs, chained, hungry and denied.

Now there are occupiers, the one percent, the entitled, the mandated, and the bailed out, the bummed out and last but not least the next generation of children who are saddled with 14 trillion dollars’ worth of debt. These we might call the ‘debted’ out. (My word) But it doesn’t end there for the kids

Instead of putting an end to 4,000 abortions per day Barack Obama has declared that our daughters can now have the same chance at financial success as our sons, because Roe v. Wade is still in place and doing well. If about half of the aborted are females, then what are their chances for success and why has he not included them with his daughters?

Then along comes Attorney General Eric Holder with clear instructions from Mr. Obama not to defend DOMA. (Defense of Marriage Act) In a nation already plagued with fatherless families now we are asking children to endure the confusion of two fathers or two mothers, an experiment in social tinkering that is miserably failing according to studies.

Those who oppose such perversion are called ‘hate’ groups or homophobes, such as actor Kirk Cameron. In as much as they may hate perversion (even though they don’t hate people) the name may fit, but it is in fact ignorant to assume that their love for the next generation is hatred. Our children’s future is far too high a price to pay for this administration’s Dalian, dubious, demonic and just plain dumb view of society. If children are at stake, then who cares what Mr. Obama thinks?

Who would have thought that America would have to wait over 230 years for someone to properly interpret the Declaration of Independence for us all? Barack Obama has now cleared away the fog. Life liberty and the pursuit of happiness is better enjoyed if it is applied to an elect few at the expense of others (The unborn) who can be disregarded, dismissed and fully discarded as an unwanted hindrance to our own financial well-being.

As these helpless, but perfectly healthy human beings are discarded all in the name of ‘women’s health’ it is apparent that Mr. Obama has also discarded the meaning of our founders and our philosophers’ including 17th –century philosopher Richard Cumberland who said, “Promoting the well-being of our fellow humans is essential to the pursuit of our own happiness.”

Next down the road are academicians whose fear of illiteracy has all but vanished, only to be replaced by the deductions of the digitally dopey, texting, tweeters and twits who are convinced their ancient venerable progenitor’s were monkeys.

With fully powered G-4 handhelds with thousands of apps to titillate what’s left of brain cells that escaped the medical marijuana, college drinkathons and academic sandwich of rare meat between two pieces of bread marked interstellar space dreams and Darwinian pipe dreams, the prof’s and instructors are leading the way on the west coast. Lawmakers there will not be outdone by the academicians and yet more help for the kids is now on the way.

California’s SB48 is coming into full swing now – those children who escaped the scalpel and burning salts of the abortionist are having their best childhood years blasted with images of sexual deviance and perversion all in the name of ‘education.’ This is mandated all the way down to kindergarten.

Drugs are being pumped through underground tunnels in San Diego; Tinsel Town trash is steadily raining on America in a deluge from leftist sell outs of Hollywood and public nudity and just about anything else the imagination can conger is perfectly okay in San Francisco, but don’t worry, they won’t allow their children to miss that all important sex education and gay history class. Up until now we thought the threat of a very serious earthquake was the only drawback to living in the beautiful Golden State. For children living in California, an 8.5 Richter reading may be the least of their worries.

Who could have guessed that a president would get involved with the sexual revolution and become the champion of the gays? When the sixties sexual revolution began the actors in that slippery slide altogether thought it was cool to wear talismans around their necks. The omega symbol, (last days) roach clips, peace symbols, sex drugs and rock and roll messages and a plethora of huge indicators of open rebellion were worn. Who could foresee that it would end with another talisman that no one will really want to wear in this life or the next.

“But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.” (Mt 18: 6)

The unborn and the youngsters of this nation may not have much of a voice in the upcoming election but my guess is that if they did, they would reject more – ‘Change we can believe in’ and heartily choose the acronym – ‘Anyone but Obama.’
