Radical mouthpiece for the left and former Vice President Al Gore has attacked Christianity and President Bush’s faith in God. This is the same Al Gore who stood up and shouted that the President “betrayed this country!” and “he played on our fears!” with regards to our actions in the War on Terror but was remarkably silent when his boss was sending troops into Kosovo and firing cruise missiles up the butts of camels.

Now in an interview for New Yorker Magazine, he has also said of the President’s religion “It's a particular kind of religiosity" and then further went on to say, "It's the American version of the same fundamentalist impulse that we see in Saudi Arabia, in Kashmir, in religions around the world: Hindu, Jewish, Christian, Muslim. They all have certain features in common.” (WorldNet Daily reports)

Here we go again. And now we know why the left is so keen on universal (i.e. socialized) healthcare. Apparently their members need it to defer the costs of their medication; medication Al Gore seems to forget to take from time to time.

The left is trying so hard to knock down President Bush that they are cracking up. I guess having seen that having MoveOn.org and Democratic Underground refer to President Bush as Hitler not working they have now turned to implying that President Bush is Usama bin Laden! My God they have no shame!

Oh come one Al, just say it. Don’t beat around the bush (no pun intended). Just say “President Bush is just like Usama bin Laden.” You know you want to.

He is further quoted as saying “You don't hear very much from them [Christians like George Bush] about the Sermon on the Mount, you don't hear very much about the teachings of Jesus on giving to the poor, or the beatitudes. It's the vengeance, the brimstone.” Really? Uh, Al, old buddy, old pal, I don’t recall ever hearing “the vengeance” or “the brimstone” from the President’s mouth. In fact was it not just President Bush this past week who was down in Florida sacrificing his time to hand out supplies to the victims of hurricanes in Florida? Get back to me on that one Al before you go off about how President Bush does not help the poor and less fortunate. And what about that hideous prescription drug package that he helped passed to aid seniors?

But this is nothing new for the left. They despise religion or at the very best, like only their own version of Christianity while trashing others. And that’s not all he said either.

“I think he [President Bush] is a bully, and, like all bullies, he's a coward when confronted with a force that he's fearful of.” Al Gore is still bitter about the fact that if his home state of Tennessee had voted for him he would have won in 2000. What really gets in his craw is that the people that knew him best thumbed their noses at him in favor of President Bush. I know it hurts Al, but you really need to get into therapy.

Let’s talk about cowardly Mr. Gore. How many chances did your boss have to get Usama Bin Laden? How many terrorist attacks where there that he took no substantive military action in retaliation? Talk about cowardly! You were second in command to the most cowardly President in recent memory; second in command to a man that didn’t have the balls to act against terrorists when he had the chance time and again.

And you talk about President Bush being a coward? Well, that certainly is brave of you!

But what is even more odd than the cowardly second in command to a true coward with regards to the War on Terror now standing up when it is all but too late, is that in a nation where freedom of religion is a fundamental right, you have a former Vice President attacking a sitting President over his religion. You have Gore attacking George Bush over his religion in an attempt to sway an electorate and plant the seeds of doubt as to the sincerity and level to which President Bush believes in God and Christ as his savior. I just have one thing to say about that. KEEP IT UP! PLEASE!

I mean that sincerely. Keep it up. I am not joking. There are few things that people take more seriously than their religion and the religion of others. And if you want to put the final nail in your political coffin and shovel the dirt on yourself and bury the Democratic Party with you, by all means, keep it up.

I will even gladly donate money to you so you can take out TV spots all over the country two weeks before election day so that you can publicly criticize President Bush’s religion and isolate nearly every Christian in America and seal a 50 state landslide for the President. I’m sure that DC will still vote for Kerry though.
