Do they even read what we write to them about?
The Fair Tax Act of 2003 [S.1493.IS] and [H.R.25.IH]
Recently I wrote Senator Rick Santorum (PA) as to what his possition was on this plan which has been proposed before both the Senate and the House.  Please note that the Senate version is identical to the House version and is sponsored by Sen Chambliss, (GA).

Mr. Santorum's response however focused on the House version stating "As I am not a member of the House of Representatives, I will not have an opportunity to vote on this bill in it's current form."  Well, thank you Mr. Santorum.  That is why I specifically asked about the Senate version of the bill and not the House version.  Unlike some people I DO know that you are a member of the Senate and NOT the House.

He goes on to talk about how he is interested in reforming the tax code, blah blah blah.  And how he has worked to provide tax relief, blah blah blah.  And how he appreciates knowing of my support for the Fair Tax Act, blah blah blah.

But NEVER answered my question which was clearly DO YOU SUPPORT S.1493.IS?

I'm begining to wonder about you Mr. Santorum.  First your support for Snarlin' Arlen over Pat Toomey and now this.  As a member of the Senate Finance Committee I would expect you to have at least read the Bill.  Of course I also expected that you would have given me a straight answer instead of talking about the House version which serves no purpose to you.

My original letter will be posted if I can find where the heck I put it.  Until then you will have to take my word for it that I am not so stupid as to ask a Senator about a House Resolution.
