Q: The “right of the people to keep and bear arms” is granted in what section of the Constitution?
A: The Second Amendment
Amendment II:A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
How did you fare? In 1996 when I originally gave this test to 50 people (21 “Conservatives”, 13 “Moderates”,
15 “Liberals”) the following percentages answered correctly:
Total Respondants: 72% (36)
“Conservatives” 100% (21)
“Moderates” 77% (10)
“Liberals” 33% (5)
