A. The United States Constitution was signed September 7, 1787. Notice that we did not create one over night. It took years of work after the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

How did you fare? In 1996 when I originally gave this test to 50 people (21 “Conservatives”, 13 “Moderates”,
15 “Liberals”) the following percentages answered correctly:
Total Respondants: 20% (10)
“Conservatives” 38% (8)
“Moderates” 8% (1)
“Liberals” 7% (1)
