Campaigners for Kerry have made a threat against Donald Rumsfeld with an advertisement in the GABBER, a Pinellas County (Florida) family run weekly newspaper. The ad was sponsored by the St. Petersburg Democratic club and says "We should put this S.O.B. up against a wall and say 'This is one of our bad days,' and pull the trigger".
The S.O.B. is Mr. Rumsfeld in their opinion and the ad further goes on to request donations for John Kerry's Presidential campaign.
Sorry folks, but this is just the beginning. This is the beginning of what is going to be thrown against President Bush this year. And it is still early and we are already seeing veiled death threats at our leaders from the party of tolerance. The socialist left is getting ready. We aren't becoming socialist fast enough for their liking and as history shows, they WILL resort to violence to get to their goals.
According to Matt Drudge, when called on the carpet, Club Vice President Edna McCall explained: "'Pull the trigger' means let Rumsfeld know where we stand, not to shoot him!"
I'm sorry but that is a lame attempt at CYA on this one. You don't threaten to put someone "up against a wall" and then "pull the trigger" on and not expect people to know what it means. We are not stupid Edna. But we are sure thankful that there are people like you out there continually showing your true colors as to what the party of "tolerance" really stands for.
