Al Gore at it again...

Al Gore called out: "I am calling today for Republicans as well as Democrats to join me in asking for the immediate resignations of those immediately below George Bush and Dick Cheney"

Apparently Al Gore is confusing this administration with that of his buddy Slick Willy. Last time I looked there weren't any interns "immediately below" either of these two gentlemen.

But seriously, just when you thought that the left was winding down about Abu-Ghraib here comes another presidential pretender stirring up the pot again. He called for the resignations of Rumsfeld and Rice claiming that they are too stupid and incompetent to hold their positions.

Really Al? Didn't we already go through this? Remember Condi Rice blasting Mr. Clarke's theories that she was an incompetent boob out of the water with her testimony? Remember Rumsfeld standing up and taking responsibility even though the fault most likely rests with the general in charge of the security forces there?

He then went even further to shout about " “How dare they subject us to such dishonor and disgrace! How dare they drag the good name of the United States of America through the mud"

Gee Al, I don't think I heard you saying that during Clinton's 8 years of sexcapades and other scandals. I don't think I heard you complain when your boss was making it easy for a spy in the commerce department to send nuclear secrets to Red China. As a matter of fact I don't think I heard you talking much at all about dishonor at all.

But then again, Al Gore, you never really had a good teacher in Clinton or in your father who opposed tooth and nail the civil rights act of 1964 to learn about honor did you?
