Remember the socialist left and their cries about the Second Iraq War being about oil? Well, gas just hit $1.89 here which is up about $0.40 since November 2003. So that means either 1) Bush is incompetent and can't even wage war correctly or 2) IT WASN'T about the stinkin' oil!

I'll go with number 2. Although the left is going to have to start explaining how in a "War for oil" gas prices continue to climb and will probably divert their belief into theory number 1. They already think President Bush is the biggest nimrod to ever grace the oval office with his presence so that wouldn't be a HUGE leap for their train of thought.
