What? That's right. John Edwards made the promise that if you vote for John Kerry people like Christopher Reeve would walk again.

"If we do the work that we can do in this country, the work that we will do when John Kerry is president, people like Christopher Reeve are going to get up out of that wheelchair and walk again,"

Ok, ignoring the fact that Reeve himself said that he did not believe that stem cell research would help him, and the fact that Kerry/Edwards are talking about embryonic stem cells (abortion) compared to where the REAL progress is being made which is in cord blood and adult stem cells the MOST glaring thing that we need to take away from this is that IF Kerry is as Godlike as Edwards would have us believe that all you people in the wheelchair manufacturing industry are going to be out of a job. We're also going to need a lot fewer nurses and other medical professionals as well!

So vote for God...er...I mean John Kerry and the dead will rise up and the lame will walk! And we'll lose millions of jobs because they wont be needed any more too. But that's ok because I'm sure Kerry has a government "plan" to take care of them too.
