...President Bush claims that is news to him...
Senator Kerry...loose and fast with the facts as always. Did you get that off the stolen laptops your goons took from GOP campaign offices they ransacked?
I'm sorry. But I laughed SO hard at that it made my day.
Leave a comment if you like! *Note if you are a left wing, tin hat wearing, pro-Marxist loon that likes to post "anonymously" you will be treated like the kook you are!
Please double check the facts of this issue before you think you have a "gotcha". I will quote your own source.
"He reported $84 of business income (in 2001) from his part ownership of a timber-growing enterprise." Note that this is not current information.
The next line however refutes this claim:
"Brooks Jackson's marvelous site noted that the timber interest was listed under "royalties" in his 2002 and 2003 returns, indicating The Texas Thunderbolt still has an interest in said concern."
Note that it says he still "has an interest". Note that having "an interest" in something is not the same as owning it. I have an interest in hundreds of companies through stocks that I own but I do not "own" any of the companies that I have stock in.
This is another attempt at people trying to play fast and loose with the facts of a case. You will note that the section I have drawn your attention to is carefully worded and does not say President Bush "owned" the company.
Investing in something is not the same as owning it.
Come back and try again some time.
Please also note that your "source" misses several large mistakes by Kerry, the least of which is the fact that not even two minutes into the debate he was claiming Bush "lost jobs". The Bureau of Labor Statistics would be a good source to reference to see that this is false, but not a single mention of this...instead he makes snide comments about each combatant. Not a very serious review of the "facts" when such a glarring omission is made.
Maybe we should stick to doing our own research instead of looking at some poorly researched articles....and next time log in and at least put your name to comments you make. I put my name to mine. Why wont you to yours?
