But don't tell that the Democrats and John Kerry who seem hell bent on dragging out the 2004 election the same as in 2000. Kerry delays his concession speech because they still have "hope" and said that they will wait and see what happens when provisional ballots in Ohio are counted. Without swinging Ohio from Bush's column, there is NO way for Kerry to win the elecion. Ohio puts Bush at 269 Electoral Votes and even with several other states "too close to call" officially ensures that the Republican House and Senate would break any tie even if all the rest went to Kerry. Which they wont.

With 100% of the precincts in Ohio reporting, the vote totals are George W. Bush (R) 2,794,346 (51%) and John F. Kerry (D) 2,658,125 (49%) or a lead of 136,221 votes. There are an estimated 125,000 to 175,000 provisional ballots left to be counted. False hope on John Kerry's part?

Look at the numbers. If there are 150,000 provisional ballots then IF Kerry beat George Bush among these ballots 75%/25% John Kerry would STILL lose by 61,221 votes. IF Kerry beat George Bush 90%/10% John Kerry would STILL lose by 16,221 votes. IF Kerry beat George Bush 95%/5% JOHN KERRY WOULD STILL LOSE BY 1,221 VOTES!

John Kerry would HAVE to have a 95.5% to 4.5% WHOPPING of George Bush in these provisional ballots to win! That is, assuming that all of the ballots are valid.

So false hope for John Kerry? You better believe it is!

Even though other states are too close to call, from some people's perspective, Nevada is Bush's (5 votes), New Mexico is Bush's (5 votes), Iowa is Bush's (7 votes) and Wisconsin is Kerry's (10 votes).

Bush has won with 286 electoral votes. Get over it. Be a gracious loser Kerry and just concede now. But it seems like you would rather just drag the country through ANOTHER long drawn out whine fest just like in 2000.
