The Future

Tuesday, August 31, 2004

Posted by J. J. Jackson @ 10:27 AM

Monday night was the "future stars" showcase of the Republican Party featuring John McCain and Rudy Giuliani. Only problem is that while both give excellent speeches neither of them truly represents the core of the Republican Party. Both are to the left of President Bush who has seen the problems one has holding on to conservative support when one acts in a non conservative manner.

Can either of them win the nomination in 2008? Can either of them win the White House after that? I sincerely doubt it. I know the Republican Party is trying the "big tent" theory but if this trend continues of selective disregard for conservative principles they will have a hard time maintaining their support for years into the future.

The Republican Party might very well succeed, but they are on the threshold of doing it as a party of moderates where a little bit of socialism is ok. And that is not in line with "republican" principles nor is it in line with the concepts that this nation was founded upon.

A Quick Thought On McCain

Monday, August 30, 2004

Posted by J. J. Jackson @ 11:20 PM

After watching his speech tonight in New York I have to say that it is truly a shame that Senator John McCain has a nasty streak of liberalism in him. If he could somehow tame that liberal beast that lives within him that wants to limit free speech and play nice with his "friends" who don't care about America one iota he would make a superb leader for this country.

But alas I don't believe he will ever overcome his inner liberal demons.

Youth Rebellion?

Posted by J. J. Jackson @ 6:38 PM

When the Kerry daughters were roundly booed at the MTV Music Awards over the weekend, liberals were stunned. When the Bush daughters didn't get the same response, the wet themselves.

"What is going on?" they asked themselves. "We own MTV!" they complained to their fellow travelers. Well not so fast it seems.

Part of it is undoubtedly the deep divide in America over politics where 40% of America is Soicialist or Communist and 40% is Moderate to Conservative with 20% left not knowing what they are. But, once again, it shows that people tend to react negatively when they have politics shoved in their faces when they expect a non political event.

Don't believe the hype. The election isn't as close as it seems.

President Bush Over The Line?

Posted by J. J. Jackson @ 12:58 PM

NewsMax is reporting that President Bush is considering legal action against legal 527s and possibly siding with Senator John "Bad Money Makes Good People Do Bad Things" McCain to pass legislation if the court action fails.

WHAT? Now I know that President Bush knows that the first amendment says we have free speech so what is he doing?

This campaign finance reform thing is getting out of control. Should ads that are proven to be false and have a malicious intent and those that make them be held accountable? You bet. But don't damn everyone for the sins of a few and the left wingers who can't control their diarrhea of the mouth.

War Criminal For President But NOT Sec. Of Defense?

Wednesday, August 25, 2004

Posted by J. J. Jackson @ 6:12 PM

John Kerry again has called for Rumsfeld to resign over the prison abuse "scandal". Apparently having been the superior of about a dozen or so soldiers (about 0.02% of the troops in Iraq) makes him unfit to hold such a high office.

But then I have a question? Why would a self professed war criminal named John Kerry be then qualified to hold the HIGHER office of President? Hmmmmm.

Kerry Steps In It Again?!?!?!?!?

Breaking on Drudge:

KERRY PHONES SWIFT BOAT FOES

excerpt (please note that this is hearsay as to this point we do not have audio tapes)
-----------------------------------------------------------
KERRY: "Why are all these swift boat guys opposed to me?"

BRANT: "You should know what you said when you came back, the impact it had on the young sailors and how it was disrespectful of our guys that were killed over there."

[Brant had two men killed in battle.]

KERRY: "When we dedicated swift boat one in '92, I said to all the swift guys that I wasn't talking about the swifties, I was talking about all the rest of the veterans."
-----------------------------------------------------------

WOAH! WAY TO GO KERRY! Way to step in it! So you are now admitting that you meant that ALL (with the exception of the "swift guys") veterans were war criminals eh?

Folks, it just doesn't get any better than this. I'm sorry, but for years Sen. Kerry has tried to smoke screen himself by rewriting what he said in sworn testimony as not applying to all vets. Now, he pretty much admits that is EXACTLY what he meant.

Will Kerry deny he said this? Are there tapes? All of this could come into play very negatively and very fast for John "The Hero" Kerry of the Axis of Liberals.

Ok, you want to be that way?

Rumors have been flying lately about President Bush making a 'surprise' visit to the Olympics, presumably to pay a visit to the Iraqi soccer team who no longer has to fear punishment from Saddam Hussein if they lose. Drudge reports "Said one Iraqi mid fielder, 'Iraq as a team does not want President Bush to use us for the presidential campaign. He can find another way to advertise himself.' The Bush campaign has run ads in which the flags of both Iraq and Afghanistan appear and the narration mentions that two more free nations are participating at these Olympics."

Ok then fine. Here my proposal. Release Saddam Hussein and give him domain over a 2 acre plot of sand in Iraq. We'll call it "Saddamland" and give him dictatorial power there. In addition we will return to Saddam all his implements of torture. Then we'll make this retard his first subject and see how he likes it.

Poor Wittle Johnie yet again.

Posted by J. J. Jackson @ 9:25 AM

When Michael Moore launched his movie filled with half truths and downright lies about President Bush (Read Moore Facts? (Part 1), Read Moore Facts? (Part 2), and Read Moore Facts? (Part 3)) John Kerry was silent.

When Terry McAuliffe accused President Bush of being AWOL from the Texas Air National Guard, John Kerry was mute.

When Ted Kennedy accused U.S. forces of opening the Saddam torture chambers under "new management", John Kerry said nothing.

When MoveOn.org backed by millions of dollars from George Soros highlighted an ad portraying President Bush as Hitler, John Kerry was no where to be seen.

When Swift Boat Vets for Truth with the aid of about a hundred thousand dollars started questioning the truthfulness of what he claimed happened in Vietnam, John Kerry got a fire in his eyes and has even gone so far as to file a complaint with the FEC to silence the "attack". Notice a patern? You should. Free Speech, for the socialist left is a matter of them saying whatever they want to say no matter how untruthful it may be (Fahrenheit 9/11 for example). But have a group of men stand up and say the darling candidate of the socialist left is not all he's cracked up to be and BLAM! Sue until you bankrupt them or at least scare them enough to stop.

The record is clear for John Kerry. John Kerry doesn't want anyone that opposes him and his ever changing accounts of what happened in Vietnam to have their say. But he sure wants to be able sit before Congress and call his brothers in arms war criminals without justification. Win at all costs is their motto. And they are practicing the lessons they have learned from other leaders of the leftist movement well.

Unfit for Command...flying off the shelves

Saturday, August 21, 2004

Posted by J. J. Jackson @ 8:20 PM

Despite many reports I have heard recently about Unfit for Command being hidden away by liberal store managers or at the very best being hidden in the back of the store, I report today that at least in Pittsburgh it is the #1 best seller at a lot of stores. It flew off the shelves so fast, that I am still trying to track down a copy and many stores have already begun with reserve lists.

Of course whomever didn't think to order enough books or have a large enough print run should be lynched for their own incompetence. In a polarized political season where Hillary Clinton, Sean Hannity and Bill Clinton have all had top selling books the publisher and book stores should have known that Unfit for Command would be a hot little item.

It doesn't seem to bother the stores that they have tables full of Bill Clinton book gathering dust however.

Poor Wittle Johnie...

The American Spectator is reporting that rough and tough manly man and War Hero John Kerry was claimed to be "visibly upset at the reception he received at the VFW convention on Wednesday in Cincinnati." according to several staffers.

Apparently Sen. Kerry didn't get a very warm welcome. He was instead however greeted by "polite applause in the large auditorium, with many VFW members sitting with their arms crossed and not applauding at all. A few VFW members stood in the rear of the room with their backs turned to the dais."

Gee John, who'd a thunk it huh? I mean sure you came back from Vietnam and trashed the military, calling our soldiers baby killers and war criminals but they should have forgiven you by now right? Wrong.

Kerry continues to live in his own little fantasy land and reading from his own book of fictitious "Kerrytales" and is apparently starting to believe his own hype. Sooner or later though he is going to get struck in the nose often enough with the facts that he might actually wake up from his dream state...maybe.

Bringing the boys home

Tuesday, August 17, 2004

Posted by J. J. Jackson @ 8:43 AM

The Boston Globe is reporting on President Bush's plans to bring 60,000 to 70,000 U.S. Troops home from posts around the world over the next several years.

Part of this move is motivated by the need to increase homeland security here, part of it motivated by the desire for a more mobile and agile force over seas, and part of it (make no doubt) is motivated by an American public tired of keeping troops in countries that don't like to help the United States.

Foreign bases in countries like Germany that close will cost the local communities there tens of thousands of dollars and instead bring those dollars home to local communities and diminish the need to close military bases here that help support communities.

It is about time too.

A look at things to come?

AOL is conducting a straw poll between Bush/Kerry/Nader on its site and among its members. According to AOL the poll will reset each month and you can view the map here.

So far, this month, 40 States to 10 Bush leads with 405 to 103 electoral votes.

Just a few days ago it was even more promising for Bush. So keep an eye on this poll and let's see whether it or the professional pollsters are right in November.

Dem Dirty Tricks Continue

Saturday, August 07, 2004

Posted by J. J. Jackson @ 9:57 AM

Recently, as many of you know, Swift Boat Veterans for Truth produced an ad that contradicts Kerry's Vietnam "war hero" stories. This ad was sent along with complete affidavits and other information to several broadcasters to be aired and air time was bought. And almost like clockwork, the DNC had its lawyers send a scathing letter "warning" the stations that if they aired the ad they would be responsible for libel and slander and even going so far as to call several of these vets liars including the doctor (Lewis Leston) who was in charge and said Kerry's first purple heart was a farce.

Why is Kerry hiding from Vietnam? Only a couple days ago he was trying to go Back to Vietnam by parading vets out on stage and making it a point to remind everyone that he served in Vietnam.

Why are the DNC lawyers so afraid of these vets?

WorldNet Daily is reporting that 2 stations have actually caved to the demands of the DNC. Once again we see the Democrats using the same strategy as they used unsuccessfully in Florida to steal the 2000 election. That strategy? If you don't like it, bring in the lawyers.

The DNC letter signed by Marc Elian of Perkins Coie and Joseph Sandler of Sandler, Reiff and Young calls the Swift Vets libelously, a "sham organization". Why? Because they are "spearheaded by a Texas media consultant." That's it..no further proof.

Now THAT my friends is libel. And these "lawyers" need to have their law licenses revoked for this very unprofessional letter which does EXACTLY what they are accusing the Vets of doing. You can read the entire letter here.

My friends, the enemy is coming. They bring up Vietnam to support Kerry (all 4 months that he served) and then try to SILENCE anyone that might have a different story to tell about his "heroism".

Sound familiar? These are the same Gestapo tactics used by one Adolph Hitler and others in the 20th century to gain power. DO NOT stop being vigilant! DO NOT turn away from this fight.

Because this fight is for America. And this is blatantly un-American. It is un-American to try and bully your opposition into silence so that only your point of view gets heard.

Kerry open his big mouth

Tuesday, August 03, 2004

Posted by J. J. Jackson @ 11:59 AM

According to Matt Drudge:

PROTESTERS SHOUT '4 MORE YEARS' AT KERRY RALLY IN DOWNTOWN MILWAUKEE

JOHN KERRY: 'I want to thank George Bush for sending the goons here tonight to excite us to do a little more work'...

Incredible John. Just freaking incredible. Didn't you learn your lesson when caught on tape trying to whisper ever so softly about how corrupt the republicans are? I know that you are speaking to your fellow travelers here but your fellow travelers do not make up enough of America to win you election.

Is this the kind of civility that John and Teresa Kerry want this election cycle? Anyone that disagrees with them are now "goons"?

Oh boy. This is going to be FUN!

Add Don Henley to the list...

Posted by J. J. Jackson @ 11:49 AM

Don Henley, during a concert, tried to interject his political beliefs ala Linda Ronstadt WorldNet Daily Reports today. He brought up his friend Rondstadt and when booed by the audience said "We used to be able to have civil debate in this country. Not anymore."

What the heck is it with these washed up rock stars? Don, we still DO have civil debate quite often. I do sometimes have a problem finding anyone from the left however that can actually "debate". Usually they shout you down and call it "debate".

However Don, like Ronstadt, you are before a crowd that PAID to hear you SING. They did NOT PAY to hear you pontificate on POLITICS!

So "Get over it"...as the Eagle's say.

Stop signing the FLAG!

Sunday, August 01, 2004

Posted by J. J. Jackson @ 6:42 PM

I saw a report on Reuters where a woman by the name of Louise Pedrick posed with her American Flag in Newburgh, New York July 30th. One thing about the flag...it was "signed" by John Edwards.

PLEASE STOP IT! PLEASE STOP DESECRATING THE FLAG!

I am on record saying that George Bush was wrong to do it when he signed a small flag for a "fan" and John Edwards is equally wrong to have done this as well. The flag is not a canvas. It is a symbol of this nation. It is NOT a symbol of one man or one woman nor is it something that should be altered even if someone hands a politician one and asks it to be signed.

Just say NO!
