And the House of Representatives is part of what boys and girls? That's right...CONGRESS!

ALL the power of the IRS is inherited from the Congress because without a "law" they have no ability to enforce the tax code. This also means that since the IRS is a defacto servant of the Congress it is held to the same rules and confines as Congress itself. For the IRS to infringe then upon religious freedom (or even freed speech for that matter) is equal to the Congress itself doing it.

Newsmax.com is reporting that after Catholics for a Free Choice (Phony Catholics) complained to the Internal Revenue Service for action to revoke the tax-exempt status for both the Catholic archdioceses of St. Louis and Denver stating:

"Public money should be used for charitable purposes, not for telling people who to vote for implicitly or explicitly,"

the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights (REAL Catholics) fired back a complaint of their own stating:

"The IRS provides a tax-exempt status to organizations that serve the public interest. It is the contention of the Catholic League that Catholics for a Free Choice is an anti-Catholic hate group, and therefore forfeits its status as a public charity; hence, it should be denied a tax exemption,"

and

"We will supply the IRS with the necessary background information."

Ouch! This article also correctly points out that so far the left wing has not made too much of a stink about Al Gore or John Kerry actually physically appearing in churches and actively telling people to vote for Kerry in the election.

I do so wonder when that will actually happen. My guess is never.

holding on a videotaped message from a purported al Qaeda terrorist warning of a new attack on America

ABC denies the charge however Drudge is citing "top federal source" that ABCNEWS does indeed have a tape and that the CIA is analyzing it after it was obtained out of Waziristan, Pakistan.

The tape claims

"The streets will run with blood," and "America will mourn in silence" because they will be unable to count the number of the dead.

I don't know. Call me skeptical. I mean, yes I DO believe that we will be hit again by these cowards, however weren't we promised a "storm of airplanes" falling from the skies after September 11th? Hmmmmm?

The tape also reportedly says that

America has brought this on itself for electing George Bush who has made war on Islam by destroying the Taliban and making war on Al Qaeda.

Uh huh...I guess that the two attacks on the WTC, the USS Cole and other attacks were because you liked us then?

Last weekend, our county's GOP did a "Walk The Vote" where we delivered flyers, talked about President Bush President and gave yard signs and bumper stickers away.

During the course of my walk, I did meet a couple of people that volunteered they had voted for Kerry in early balloting. I thanked them for voting and keeping the process working. I never pushed the issues with the Kerry supporters, I just thanked them. I was gracious.

Most, in this neighborhood, are Bush supporters and I gave away a ton of literature, bumper stickers and yard signs. They were excited and enthusiastic about finally getting yard signs and more information.

Well, the violence has started in our upscale neighborhood. I have answered the door 3 times today for people angry. Why? Because their yard signs have either been destroyed or missing. Bumper stickers ripped off. Mailboxes damaged and homemade stickers with W. and the international no sign stuck to mailboxes. In all cases, the homemade stickers have bled through and ruined the paint. One woman's mailbox was beaten up and the yard sign in shreds.

These are the followers of the next President? Some vile creatures that come in the dark of night to damage personal property and tresspass? Who value free speech only if it pertains to them. Who don't have the guts to face the opposition in a fair debate of ideas?

This just disgusts me beyond belief.

It's personal now Kerry supporters. We will be waiting for your midnight raids.

The Washington Times is reporting that the Democratic Party in conjunction with other left leaning organizations such as the People for the American Way, the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees and the AFL-CIO are filing suit in Florida for because of attempts at "conspiring to disenfranchise minority voters".

Ok. So do they have a case?

The Washington Times reports that:

The suits say Republican officials refused to count provisional ballots, improperly disqualified incomplete voter registrations, established overly restrictive rules to disproportionately hurt minority voters and actively sought to disenfranchise blacks.

and that

Matt Miller, a spokesman for the Kerry campaign, said Republicans are "trying to scare people away from the polls."

Ok, so let's look at the credibility of this case shall we?

The first complaint?

challenges a ruling by Mrs. Hood to throw out forms on which new voters had failed to check a box indicating whether they were U.S. citizens, and another argued that although only 17 percent of the voters in Broward County and 20 percent in Miami-Dade County were black, more than a third of the voter-registration forms that were determined to be incomplete and invalid in both counties involved black voters.

Question? Were the forms incomplete? If so, are they required to discard them? Answer - YES! What we have here is an attempt by the left wing to have two separate classes before the law. First, people that can follow the rules. Second, people that cannot follow the rules but that should be allowed to participate anyway.

So why even have the rules? Some liberal get back to me on that will you?

Not to turn away face time, DNC Chairman Terry McAuliffe

accused Republicans of engaging in "systematic efforts" to disenfranchise voters, imposing unlawful identification requirements on voters, throwing eligible voters off the rolls and depriving voters of their right to cast a provisional ballot.

Ok. So what old Terry is saying here is how dare you make sure that the person voting is who they say they are? Why would you want that Terry? Would that have something to do with bus loads of Democratic Partisans you want to bus around from precinct to precinct claiming to be anyone you tell them to be as names of people that did not vote yet are phoned in to you by your poll watchers?

Get back to me on that one too.

In 2001 the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights claimed that there was indisputable evidence of "injustice" and "ineptitude" and disenfranchisement of black voters. However it should be noted that Abigail Thernstrom and Russell G. Redenbaugh wrote an unchallenged 50 page dissent which correctly pointed out as the Washington Times Put it

at the time that a more rigorous statistical analysis showed that race was unrelated to the rate of ballot spoilage and that no evidence supported accusations of disfranchisement or discrimination of minorities. She said the Florida election was "hampered only by problems that were neither motivated by racial discrimination nor served to disfranchise minority voters."

These hearings included Democrats calling 3 black voters who were key to the "conspiracy" claims. But that

none of three could show that they had been denied their right to vote. No other witnesses were called.

So there was disenfranchisement without evidence? Wait, I forgot! It's the "seriousness of the charge" that matters!

Three others also testified that they had "concerns" about voter intimidation and disenfranchisement but all admitted under oath that they voted in their precincts without problems. Again...there is that "seriousness of the charge" defense again!

Then, as the Washington Times reports:

Mrs. Tucker said she was detained at a routine police driver's license checkpoint that had been functioning for weeks before the election, but was waved on after producing her valid license.

So,wait...the checkpoint had been up for "weeks" before the election and Ms. Tucker KNEW it was there and her complaint was that she was stopped and then allowed to pass after showing that she had a driver's license? So, there was no disenfranchisement there either...but they were "concerned" about it so that makes the charge "serious" I suppose.

Also, the Washington Times reports:

Mr. Whiting said his name had been purged by mistake from the voting rolls when he had inaccurately been identified as a felon, but was allowed to vote after a call to an election supervisor

Again, he wasn't disenfranchised. The problem was corrected and he voted. He was successfully RE-ENFRANCHISED by the system they claim was set up to disenfranchise.

This is confusing folks. And it is only going to get worse as hordes of DNC operatives hit the courts to over turn any election result not in John Kerry's favor. Will they ever produce hard evidence? Not likely. They will just keep accusing and hope that it sticks.

The entire open letter by Vets for Bush contains some pointed remarks. The remarks start by highlighting his actions in Vietnam.

The remarks then turn to the modern era and Kerry's nebulous claims about strengthening our military

His stated plan to double special operations forces rapidly in response to today’s threats demonstrates his lack of understanding of what makes a Special Forces soldier and fails understand that the available conventional armed forces manpower pool is insufficient to provide the necessary qualified personnel without seriously degrading standards.

Then, the letter returns to Kerry's character under fire:

He was the commander of a military unit, in this case a Naval combatant craft, and he abandoned his crew to the fight to return to a life of ease. By the standards expected of a Naval line officer of the United States, even with the most charitable interpretation, this is contemptible.

The letter even goes so far as to remind everyone that Kerry has declined to sign his Form 180 to release ALL of his military records even though he and his cronies have demanded the same of President Bush:

(we) call him to sign Standard Form 180 to authorize the full release of all records pertaining to his service.

I don't know about you but if you say you "support the troops" the answer as to who you should support for President is clearly George W. Bush. After all, how many times have you heard about large groups of veterans including both Democrats and Republicans coming together to condemn Bush?

The plaintiff in one case (OH SO BRAVE that she can only be identified by initials) complained according to Peyser that:

insists Chaikin accused her of doing drugs and having sex at anti-war rallies.

The billboards read "Global warming equals worse hurricanes. George Bush just doesn't get it." Ok...hmmmm...well I guess that makes sense to someone who seeks to over regulate business and industry to the point where it will collapse and then have to be run by a utopian communist government where you hope to have a place at the table of power. Unfortunately it doesn't make any sense to anyone with a reasonable intelligence level.

I wonder if these same nut jobs want President Bush to stop all volcanic activity which releases ash and SO2 which cause global cooling as well. Maybe these scientific "intellectuals" will also demand that President Bush order the sun to stop producing sun spots and increasing it's temperature as has been recorded to effect global temperature as well.

Nah. Because those would sound COMPLETELY ridiculous. Instead they are content to pretend that President Bush is causing hurricanes and that President Bush is the root of global climate change.

Newsmax is running a story based on documents unearthed that appear to show that Kerry, while not necessarily working for the Vietcong was at the very least a willing participant or dupe.

Winter Soldier has what appears to be two documents that support this conclusion. The one document is circular from 1971 distributed by the Vietnamese Communists which states:

"The spontaneous anti-war movements in the US have received assistance and guidance from the friendly ((VC/NVN)) delegations at the Paris Peace Talks."

The second document was supposedly retrieved in 1972 and is reported to be a directive from the communists. It states

"Of the US anti-war movements, the two most important ones are: The PCPJ ((the People's Committee for Peace and Justice)) and the NPAC ((National Peace Action Committee)). These two movements have gathered much strength and staged many demonstrations. The PCPJ is the most important. It maintains relations with us."

The documents are marked copy and are in English. Their authenticity uncertain at least to me and we do have to be careful after the Rathergate Memo Scandal that operatives on the left have not attempted to plant a story to blow up in the face of the President days before the election.

President Bush will hopefully and in his standard form stay clear of bringing up Kerry's Vietnam record and let the media do its job here. However, if accurate these documents are damning to John Kerry except among his fellow far left wing socialists and communists that agree that we should never have tried to keep a people free from communism in the first place.

Drudge is now reporting on another Kerry misstep. Yesterday Drudge reported that Kerry jumped on the false reports of newly "missing" weapons in Iraq by saying:

"It is reckless and irresponsible to fail to protect and safeguard one of the largest weapons sites in the country. And by either ignoring these mistakes or being clueless about them, George Bush has failed. He has failed as our commander in chief; he has failed as president."

Quickly pointed out however is that the report is older than and dates to BEFORE our troops rolled into liberate Iraq from Saddam.

A senior Bush official is quoted as catching Kerry in this misstep by saying

"Let me get this straight, are Mr. Kerry and Mr. Edwards now saying we did not go into Iraq soon enough? We should have invaded and liberated Iraq sooner?"

Absolutely TRUE! So now Kerry's position on the War in Iraq (part of the War on Terror) is apparently it was the wrong war at the wrong time that he voted for but that he voted against the funding for and we should have gone in sooner?

I guess that clarifies his "wrong war" at the "wrong time" comments eh? Apparently Kerry would have us believe that he would have acted faster...even though he also voted against the first Gulf War which had his "dream" coalition. This just even further muddies Kerry's position on where he stand with regards to the War on Terror.

The deeper issue here however is how did the NY Times screw this up and rerun an old story? Do we believe for one second that they did it by accident? Or were they trying to concoct an "October Surprise"?

Because after the whole Jason Blair fiasco and the NY Times getting caught not checking their facts, do we really believe for one second that this is an honest mistake?

Left without much to criticize Bush on, Rosie again turned to personal attacks saying "He never passed one (a test) at Harvard or Yale, but whatever." Ok there Ms. Brainiac, George Bush graduated from one of the most prestigious universities in America and if it wasn't for your big mouth you'd be asking people if they would "like fries with that".

Kerry, today on the campaign trail said basically that he is a Catholic that disagrees with the teachings of the Catholic Church. He is of course referring to how he thinks abortion is A-Ok and the Church does not.

Mr. Kerry, if you disagree with the doctrine of the church then why are you a member?

Perhaps it has something to do with his belief that he knows best. Perhaps it has something to do with the necessity as being seen as a religious man to win any political office. Only in the mind of the the "war hero" lays the answer.

I've been listening to the talking liberal heads on FOX the last couple days. Their new talking point being beaten to death is that "if every vote is counted, Kerry will win."

Why do that say that? Possibly because they know that if indeed "every vote" is counted whether it is legitimate or not that Kerry will win. Voter fraud will certainly be an issue in the days following this election. And perhaps the DNC and their shock troops know who that voter fraud will lean towards.

What is even more important to note is that this is a subliminal attack on the minds of American. The liberal pundits are attempting to plant the notion in the minds of enough Americans that if Kerry doesn't win that every vote was apparently not counted.

More intelligent people realize that this is just hype of course but it opens up their justification for flooding precincts with hordes of DNC lawyers in the days after November 2nd. If they can convince enough people BEFORE the election that if Kerry doesn't win there must have been shenanigans then they can get away with dragging the country through months of recounts seeking out the elusive hanging chad.

What Teresa Kerry is actually talking about here is not "tolerance". What she actually wants to do is promote "acceptance" of Homosexuality. There is a big difference between "tolerance" and "acceptance". I "tolerate" homosexuals just fine. I do not "accept" their lifestyle however.

Tolerate: "to put up with"
Accept: "to give admittance or approval to"

"A person doesn't choose their sexuality."

Red Herring. Any deviation from natural actions is a choice. Homosexuality is, by definition, sex with someone of the same gender. Sex naturally serves the purpose of reproduction. You can have sex without love, or any other red herring you might want to throw in there. Ergo sex with someone of the same gender has no natural purpose and is therefore a choice. Being Heterosexual is not a choice. It is natural. Being Homosexual is a choice however.

Lumping all "sexuality" into one category is like saying that all fruit are apples. It's a blatant lie.

One of these days I would love to hear a lefty actually refute that with anything other than "because I say so" arguments. Remember, there are a lot of "former" homosexuals out there...pretty hard to be the case if homosexuality is not a "choice".

NewsMax.com is reporting that Kerry's pretty boy Veep running mate John Edwards has banned the American Flag at campaign rallies. Well, to be fair, they have banned ALL flags and banners...as Banjo the Democrat clown learned.

As he produced his flag and proudly declared "This flag right here doesn't belong to the Republicans," he was quickly told that the flag ... apparently ... didn't belong to the Democrats either as a campaign worker informed him of the rule.

With the Presidential race between George W. Bush and Senator John Kerry winding down, Marc Balestrieri, Director of the international non-profit group De Fide (“of the Faith”) announced he filed a class-action Denunciation at Canon Law against John Kerry for heresy.

De Fide, claims to have received a very quick response which supports the condition that John Kerry has indeed committed heresy and been excommunicated from the Catholic Church.

The letter specifically states that "if I obstinately deny by teaching and preaching, or doubt that abortion is not intrinsically evil, I commit the mortal sin of heresy. All things being equal I am automatically excommunicated"

Further it goes on to say "Consequently, if a Catholic publicly and obstinately supports the civil right to abortion, knowing that the Church teaches officially against that legislation, he or she commits that heresy envisioned by Can. 751 of the Code. Provided that the presumptions of knowledge of the law and penalty (Can. 15, § 2) and imputability (Can. 1321, § 3) are not rebutted in the external forum, one is automatically excommunicated according to Can. 1364, § 1.”

This is, of course, in response to Kerry's "I am personally against but sill support abortion" rhetoric he is using to play to both sides of the fence on the issue. So the question is, is the response genuine, and if so, will it get any media attention?

Because if it is genuine and it gets ANY media attention then you can hear Kerry's Catholic support shatter. But of course I doubt that even if it is real it will get any real media attention. This would be too damaging to the pretty boy of the press and hurt his chances against President George Bush.

So until the media picks it up, spread the word.

That's the headline from Newsmax.com after it was revealed that Teresa Heinz Kerry actually earns $50 million dollars a year instead of the $5 million previously reported. In case you didn't know you, me and most of the middle class pay between 16% and 22% depending on our finances.

On $50 million she paid $628,000 in income taxes or 1.2%.

"Financial experts cited by the New York Post on Saturday said that the Kerry family's reported $5 million annual income wouldn't come close to covering their lavish lifestyle, which includes five estates; multiple cars; a $3.5 million Gulfstream V jet complete with plasma TV, gold fixtures and two bathrooms; a yacht worth $750,000 to $1 million and servants in every location." reports Newsmax.

One of our members over at Conservababes was in an argument with a friend about who actually gets money from where in elections. Like a typical, uninformed socialist, this person was claiming that it was Republicans who were in bed with the fat cats and big business and that it was Democrats that got contributions from "the little guy".

So I popped over to Opensecrets.org and parsed the numbers. I thought that, as always, the results were interesting so here they are in case you are too lazy to look there yourself.

"The study also found that Republicans raised more than Democrats from individuals who contributed small and medium amounts of money during the 2002 election cycle, but Democrats far outpaced Republicans among deep-pocketed givers.

In case you DIDN'T know, the F.O.P. has thrown their support behind President George W. Bush. Did you know that? Certainly not if you listen to Senator John Kerry tell it or watch the alphabet media. U.S. Newswire is reporting that Chuck Canterbury, the President of the F.O.P. has called on Kerry to STOP saying that he has the support of law enforcement around the United States.

"As the elected leader of the largest organization representing America's Federal, State and local law enforcement officers, I believe it's important to point out yet again that we do not support his candidacy for President," Canterbury said. But since when is a little white lie a problem for John Kerry? I mean, after all he lied through the 2004 presidential debates, he lied for years in the Senate, he lied after returning from Vietnam and he lied while he was in Vietnam.
