As President Bush talked about letting American workers keep more of their hard earned money by investing it in private retirement accounts untouchable by the grubby hands of bureaucrats and legions of the left wing, the Democratic side of the isle moaned and failed to cheer. During this part of the President's State of the Union Address the Democrats were mostly not showing support for the initiative except for a few scattered applause.

The question is why? Why are the Democrats so scared of letting you keep more of your money?

The answer is that because liberals don't see it as your money. They see it as the government's money. And they fear you having the power to make money. And they fear you no longer needing them to give you in a monthly check. Because when that happens they lose power.
