Worldnet Daily is reporting that Jack Wheeler of the website To the Point is postulating that Condi Rice will replace Dick Cheney next year as Vice President because of Mr. Cheney's recurrent health problems.

Question is, is this speculation new news? Many conservatives speculated that Cheney would not run with Bush in 2004 and that Rice would replace him on the ticket. That didn't happen much to the disappointment of many including myself. So Condi replacing Cheney is not really any sort of new epiphany should the Vice President chose to step down as is now being rumored by the famous "anonymous" sources.

The question is why did it take so long?
