WorldNet Daily is reporting that Mike Allen's (The Washington Post) report on an alleged GOP memo concerning the Schiavo case may not be all it is cracked up to be. The attempt by Mike Allen was of course to show that Republicans were politicizing the Schiavo case.
Heck, even I believe that, but I don't run around citing memos that cannot be produced. What's that you say? Cannot be produced? Accuracy in Media is reporting that not even the Washington Post can explain where the memo is. Instead Robert Kaiser is reported as saying:
"Good question. ... Mike is not here now so I can't confirm my hunch that his sources read him the memo but didn't give him a copy. That happens quite often these days."
Riiiiiiiiight. Why do I smell another "Memogate" on this one? Maybe the mystery memo will turn up, but I'm not really holding my breath.
