Death Of A Great Man

Alright, so I am not Catholic but even I can admit that Pope John Paul II was a great man and worthy of praise despite our disagreements on many issues. With his passing, the world today lost a truly remarkable man and more; we lost a man that helped to change the face of the world with his staunch opposition to Communism in Poland and the former Soviet Union.
I believe that it goes without saying that the next Pope will have large shoes to fill as Pope John Paul II was beloved in a way that no other modern Pope has been. May choirs of angles sing thee to thy rest.

Despite also being an anti-consumerist (basically an anti-capitalist) I will admit that he did a great many good things.
