Early reports said that an "immigrant" from Mexico was held against his will by members that identified themselves as belonging to the Minuteman Project. Well, it turns out to be FALSE! Aw, you could hear the hearts and souls of Liberals everywhere breaking after they hit the ground running with this one.

This was of course after the "immigrant" reported that he had been held against his will.

Still having trouble verifying if "immigrant" was "legal" or "illegal" since the stories I have been reading only use the term immigrant. I'll go out on a limb and say he was "illegal" though otherwise why the false report unless he was a plant.

And if he was illegal, how to do forcibly detain someone that breaking the law? Wouldn't that be something that is legally allowed? What, now citizens are not allowed to aid law enforcement? Ever hear of "citizen's arrest"?

I hate to break it to you but you cannot forcibly detain someone against their will if that person is breaking the law. Why? Because it is called an arrest! Hey, lots of criminals are "held against their will" in prisons every day. But you know what? Too FREAKING bad!
