¹Although the Declaration of Independence only specifically mentions equal creation, Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness as divine rights, it prefaces this by saying "that among these are". Further reading of the founding era documents,the words of the founding fathers, as well as later amendments to the Constitution show that the founding fathers included property and more specifically private property to be in these divine rights and it is therefor so incorporated.
