You Want Some? by Jeff Jackson (2/11/04)
The Land of the Free - A Conservative Politics Web Site

Ok, I have just about had it with the American socialists playing politics with the war in Iraq.  You guys and gals want to denigrate President Bush?  You want to call him a liar?  You want to say he hyped the intelligence?  You want to ask the question "what did he know and when"?

Fine then I also want the following Democrats/socialists/communists called on the carpet to testify before Congress and if any of this was false they MUST be impeached for seriously lying to the American people as well.

Start with former President William Jefferson "Slick Willie" Clinton who not only attacked Iraq during his term in office but also said:
"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program. We want to seriously reduce his capacity to threaten his neighbors." (February 17, 1998)

Then call Michigan Senator Carl Levin who not only supported Bill Clinton's attack of Iraq, but also said:
"And that is why, along with Senators McCain, Lieberman, and Hutchison, I am circulating among our Senate colleagues a letter to President Clinton, urging him, in consultation with Congress, consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take effective actions, including if appropriate, the use of air strikes, to respond to the Iraqi threat." (October 6, 1998)

Let's not forget the ever squawking Democratic Representative
from California, Nancy Pelosi who also supported Bill Clinton's attacks on Iraq and said:
"I believe in negotiated solutions to international conflict. This is, unfortunately, not going to be the case in this situation where Saddam Hussein has been a repeat offender, ignoring the international community's requirement that he come clean with his weapons program. While I support the President, I hope and pray that this conflict can be resolved quickly and that the international community can find a lasting solution through diplomatic means." (December 16, 1998)

Ms.
Nancy Pelosi and also concluded:
"Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process." (December 16, 1998)

Then we need to drag up former President Bill Clinton's Secretary of State Madeleine Albright who said:
"There has never been an embargo against food and medicine. It's just that Hussein has just not chosen to spend his money on that. Instead, he has chosen to spend his money on building weapons of mass destruction, and palaces for his cronies." (November 10, 1999)

Ah, then we need to pull Massachusetts Senator Edward "where's my car again?" Kennedy a who supported President Bush away from the bar long enough to explain:
"We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction." (September 27, 2002)

Not to be outdone however, next bring in West Virginia Senator Robert "white sheets" Byrd who said:
"The last UN weapons inspectors left Iraq in October of 1998. We are confident that Saddam Hussein retained some stockpiles of chemical and biological weapons, and that he has since embarked on a crash course to build up his chemical and biological warfare capability." (October 2002)

Oh but there are more.  Let's not forget Massachusetts Senator and Presidential hopeful John "Fitzgerald" Kerry who said in support of President Bush:

"We are in possession of what I think to be compelling evidence that Saddam Hussein has, and has had for a number of years, a developing capacity for the production and storage of weapons of mass destruction. "[W]ithout question, we need to disarm Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal, murderous dictator, leading an oppressive regime ... He presents a particularly grievous threat because he is so consistently prone to miscalculation. And now he has continued deceit and his consistent grasp for weapons of mass destruction ... So the threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real ..." (January 23, 2003)

Pan the camera over to West Virginia Senator John D. Rockefeller IV who said:
"There is unmistakable evidence that Saddam Hussein is working aggressively to develop nuclear weapons and will likely have nuclear weapons within the next five years. And that may happen sooner if he can obtain access to enriched uranium from foreign sources" (October 2002)

And remember California Congressman Henry Waxman who admitted in no uncertain terms:
"(T)here is every evidence, from the dossier prepared by the Prime Minister of Britain, to President Bush's speech at the United Nations, that Saddam has rebuilt substantial chemical and biological weapons stocks, and that he is determined to obtain the means necessary to produce nuclear weapons." (October 2002)

Then get Bill Clinton's National Security Advisor
Sandy Berger stated in no uncertain terms:
"He (Saddam) will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983." (February 18, 1998)

Wait, how about bringing in Democrat Senator Bob Grahm of Florida who mentions:
"There is no doubt that . Saddam Hussein has reinvigorated his weapons programs. Reports indicate that biological, chemical and nuclear programs continue apace and may be back to pre-Gulf War status. In addition, Saddam continues to redefine delivery systems and is doubtless using the cover of a licit missile program to develop longer-range missiles that will threaten the United States and our allies." (Letter to President Bush December 5, 2001)

And then there is Democratic senator from Michigan,
Carl Levin who speaks:
"We begin with the common belief that Saddam Hussein is a tyrant and a threat to the peace and stability of the region. He has ignored the mandate of the United Nations and is building weapons of mass destruction and the means of delivering them." (September 19, 2002)

And let's not forget Al "I won FloriDUH" Gore who said unequivocally:
"We know that he has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country." (September 23, 2002)

and also:
"Iraq's search for weapons of mass destruction has proven impossible to deter and we should assume that it will continue for as long as Saddam is in power." (September 23, 2002)

And let us not forget California
Democratic Representative Henry Waxman who was also touting WMDs:
"He has systematically violated, over the course of the past 11 years, every significant UN resolution that has demanded that he disarm and destroy his chemical and biological weapons, and any nuclear capacity. This he has refused to do." (October 10, 2002)

And finally former President Bill "I did not have sexual relations with that woman" Clinton's partner in crime, New York Senator Hillary "Ghandi owns a Gas Station" Clinton who said:

"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including Al Qaeda members, though there is apparently no evidence of his involvement in the terrible events of September 11, 2001." (October 2002)

So you want some?  Come get some!  And while we're at it let's investigate all of the above and the rest of the Democrats under the auspice of "what did they know and when did they know it" and "did they lie?" when they fraudulently led this country to war under false pretenses.  Let's drag them all out; every last one of them that supported this war  and previous attacks on Saddam after seeing the same evidence that President George Bush did.

Let's do it!  Let's drag the socialists out in front of this whole nation and see how what they said and what they supported was manipulated and distorted for their own political gains.

The time for niceness is over.  The war for the future of America must begin now!
